I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about a dining experience I had at [Restaurant Name] on May 28, 2023, around 5 pm. The ordeal involved an erroneous overcharge on my credit card, followed by a lack of response to my attempts at communication, combined with an extremely poor service received from the staff.

Upon checking my credit card statement following our meal, I was alarmed to find a significant discrepancy in the amount charged. The total cost of our meal, according to the restaurant's bill, was $147.xx, for which I gave a rounded-off payment of $150.00 using my credit card. However, I later found that my card was charged an excessive amount of $172.15. After contacting my bank, I was informed that they will give me $15 credit back but I needed to provide the receipt as proof to rectify the issue.

To address this, I reached out to Crab Alley via email **************************) to request the needed documentation. Regrettably, despite my efforts, I have not yet received any response or acknowledgement of my inquiry, which has not only exacerbated the issue but has also showcased a lack of customer care and attention on the part of the restaurant.

In addition to the financial concern, I was thoroughly disappointed with the service provided. Our waitress exhibited an unprofessional attitude, demonstrated through her lackadaisical approach, impoliteness, and the absence of necessary assistance. The service was not just subpar; it was undoubtedly the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant setting. I felt compelled to withhold a tip because of her unprofessionalism.

I believe it is crucial for the BBB to be aware of such behavior and practices, as they are clearly not aligned with the standards expected of reputable establishments. I trust that the BBB will take this matter seriously and aid in its resolution.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Yours Sincerely,
    Yun
