Tree fell 29 July & tore off powerlines, ruined chainlink fence & damaged a downspout/gutter. Early Nov signed contract w/ 3 Rivers & 33% deposit. Got the run-around for 3 months to set project date Jan 29 the power off & work started. 1pm I txt'd Dave re: power. Replied “It’s good to be turned back on now.” *** arrived & I found no electrical work done. Called Dave. His VM: he'd be out the next day & “the power does not need to be back off. Whatever was done today, the power needed to be off this morning for that and having to reattach the wire or the clips and things like that, you won’t need to shut it back down, so don’t worry.” All 3 tasks unfinished; no electrician seen on site Jan 31 Dave VM: he was out on 30 & aware of downspout. I txted pics of weatherhead. His reply: “is not in our scope of work” and “This is something that *** needs to fix.” He knew that equipment responsibility on *** website confirmed homeowner/contractor responsible. Weatherhead is itemized on signed contract. He txt'd “I spoke to my boss yesterday, he said that is absolutely a *** responsibility” Feb 3 I emailed letter & asked for written response in 4 days re: their position on the work. It had documentation and images Feb 5 Dave emailed: “I read your email and reviewed it with my senior project manager. We agree that the downspout still needs to be replaced and the fence needs to be fixed properly. We plan to have a crew at your home tomorrow to finish those two things. As far as the electrical work goes, *** will need to repair that portion of the job. If it is in the scope of work we will credit you that amount.” Happy they acknowledged 2/3 problems & planned a fix in 24 hours Feb 6 no workers arrived Feb 7 Dave emailed: “We would like to get you on the schedule to have the remaining work at your home completed. We will fix the electrical, fence and down spout. Unfortunately, the power will need to be shut down while we complete the electrical portion of the remaining work”
