    In December 2018, we purchased windows and doors from Power Home Remodeling Company. On or around April 1, 2022, the Basement door window shattered without reason or explanation. I contacted Power Windows to report the glass had shattered in the basement door. The contract that we signed said that the door was under warranty and they would be able to replace the glass. It took Power about 3 weeks to send a worker to even come out and view the damage. Upon inspection, they hinted that the window was possibly not under warranty, but they started the process which they said would take anywhere from 4 to 12 months!! Mind you, my wife and I had to make all of the phone calls to Power Remodeling to facilitate any progress. The first available time they came out was in May 2022 to put in a temporary window, but as they were putting it in, It shattered in their hands just as the workers lifted the window frame with no explanation. So now another window had to be ordered, which moved the repair time to be fixed another couple of months. In the meantime, the window was covered with cardboard and tape. So the next time they came was in mid-June to install the window, but this worker was rude, and unprofessional and was asked to leave our house. Calling Power and speaking to their customer service just resulted in professional neglect and delays. A time was scheduled for August 12th, 2022, at which time we had to call them again only to have the installation moved to September 15th, 2022 which is today's date I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau. During this whole time, I had to worry if someone was going to break into our home in the middle of the night. It did not take this company this long to make the windows and doors for the whole house. But all companies promise the best service until you signed on the dotted line. I'm so disappointed in doing business with Power Remodeling and would never recommend this business to do anything to a home.

    LC 10/04/2022-I spoke with the consumer and he advised that the issue has been resolved. Advised that we can go ahead and close the complaint.
