    On the morning of March 6, 2025, I was preparing to head to the grocery store when I discovered that my vehicle was missing from the parking lot of my apartment complex. Naturally, I was alarmed and immediately started searching for my car, assuming I may have misplaced where I parked it. However, after thoroughly checking the parking lot, I realized that my car had been towed. After discovering that my car was gone, I waited until the leasing office opened, hoping to find answers. When I spoke with the staff at the leasing office, I was told that they were aware of the towing but could not provide any further details about the situation. This left me frustrated and confused. I requested the contact information for the towing company, and after leaving the office, I called the number I was given. When I contacted the towing company, I spoke with a gentleman who, rather than assisting me in a professional manner, began laughing and making light of my situation. He then informed me that my car had been towed because I was slightly parked in another parking space. I found this explanation perplexing, given that the parking spaces at my apartment complex are not clearly marked, and many of the parking lines have worn off over time. I inquired about the time of the tow, and he stated that my vehicle had been towed at 3:00 AM that morning. When I asked why I had not been notified, he responded that after 16 hours of storage, I would incur an additional $50 fee. This seemed unreasonable, as I was never contacted or informed that my vehicle was being towed, and the parking lot was not properly marked to avoid confusion. The situation escalated further when the towing company employee informed me that the total cost for retrieving my vehicle would be $250, which was more than I expected.
