I use ******** **** ****** for my home warranty. On 2/7/2023 I opened a request and got an appt with H&K Plumbing for 3/1. It was determined on 3/1 that a clean out was necessary. The young man who worked on the drain looked to be in his early 20’s. He tried to use a regular snake and it did not work. There was a leak in one of the pipes which he replaced. He assured me there are no more leaks. Later that evening, I notice water under my sink, when I looked it was the water valve from the dishwasher was leaking. I turned the water off to stop the leak. When he snaked the pipes, he may have hit the valve that caused it to leak. I have used my dishwasher in the past with no issue, we only had an issue with the clogged drain. Also, he was supposed to send the report to *** that evening to determine if they would cover the clean out. On 3/3 I had not heard back from him. As soon as *** called, they received the report and a charge for $480 to do a clean out of my drain. Unfortunately, it is not covered by ***. I called the H&K and made an appt for 3/8. I mentioned that the valve to the young man, he said that may have been existing. If it were existing, why is it that he did not mention it to me on 3/1 when he came out. He said I had to call *** again and request a new work or so that they can fix the valve. He was such a dishonest young man. I will never use H&K plumbing or recommend anyone to use them for their dishonesty. I really hope *** do not use them for their dishonesty.
