      I had a total knee replacement in November 2022 my Doctor ordered me to have physical therapy for 8 weeks and ordered me to have a CPM machine that is required for therapy and medically nessasry so I can bend my knee. Maryland physicians care denied my CPM machine said it wasn't medically nessasry so I had my surgery my knee has been resistant to bend I only had therapy 3 days a week so my doctor wanted me to have CPM machine for 2 weeks for home therapy to bend my knee. I went to therapy at Rehab First in Cumberland md did my 8 weeks of therapy my knee still wouldn't bendy therapist and doctor said that's because they denied my CPM machine we appealed it with insurance but still was denied. So now I have to have my knee manipulation on Monday January 24th 2022 my doctor has to put m e under anesthesia again to bend my knee and start therapy again on January 24th for 8 weeks again.so.i have to start all over again. My doctor Dr. C. in Cumberland md ordered the CPM machine again because he states its medically nessasry but was denied again through Advance Mobilty in Bel Air md. I called and talk to Maryland Physicians care myself they told me it was denied because the doctor didn't state it was medically nessasry which he has stated several times so.my doctor resubmitted fir the machine again fir medically nessasry but was still denied now my doctor wants to know why my insurance keeps denying me I still have to get my knee manipulated even though I've been denied of my machine. Maryland physicians care approved my total knee replacement and therapy in Novembe 2022r and approved me for a knee manipulation on January 24th 2022 and therapy fir 8 more weeks but won't pay for my CPM machine to bend my knee which is a medically nessasry requirement my therapist and doctor feel my knee process to bend my knee has been held up because of not have the machine my knee isn't getting better. I feel my they are denying my health right that's medically nessasry.

      My Fiancé has suffered from ******* ********* since she was a child she has tried every preventative and treatment available but nothing has ever worked. Over a year ago her Neurologist wanted to try ****** which is an infusion given every 3 months and for a year and a half MPC denied it saying she needed to try all the other options available. There was only 2 other medications she hadn’t tried so during that time her neurologist prescribed them which neither worked. Last October they approved the ****** infusion the first of which was only half a dose her 2nd infusion 3 months later was only supposed to be half a dose but since she had remarkable improvement from the first dose MPC agreed to do a full dose for her 2nd infusion. Her ********* for the first time in her adult life were virtually gone she was even able to stop all her scripts for narcotics such as ******** 3 months narcotic free and ******** free. This April her 3rd infusion was scheduled 2 weeks before appointment she could feel ********* coming back and 1 week before infusion MPC denied it stating site of care. Her Neurologist found another infusion center which would be covered under MPC but when the center put in for claim MPC denied it stating it was not medically necessary. Since this time her neurologist has had to write her scripts for ******** again and she has had a 4 week long severe debilitating ********. Currently I am writing this from the Emergency Room because the pain has become intolerable. She is in severe depression due to the fact that all her life she’s been trying to relieve her ******** suffering and finally found something that worked. She was pretty much ******** free for 6 months but due to the total incompetence and absolute lack of compassion from MPC she has now returned to square one with her pain and suffering. I am livid that I have to watch my loved one suffer again due to this horrible incompetent company and I will be filing more complaints.
