            Date of instal was to be 11/20/23 to 11/21/23 that lasted into the late night of 11/22/23 and early morning 12am of 11/23/23 Metro flooring contracted that a crew would complete our flooring in two days and replace all items back as they were. The job last over three days and not all items were placed back. The installers ran their van off our driveway damaging the entrance and pavement requiring professional repair. The delay with stuck work van is part the reason the job lasted in to 12am 11/23/23. Due to rushing to finish the job the install was subpar and details were missed. The company did send the installers out to conduct some fixes but the issues increased as some repairs feel like padding was not laid even or missing on steps. The hardwood floors were left with several scratches caused by installers. The work station used on our deck for cutting hardwood flooring was left a mess. Seams are showing and noticeable in carpeting. There are frayed spots on the carpet. Marks on the walls and base boards. Tools left in the yard where van ran through grass getting out of being stuck. During the sales presentation we were never told or explained the different grades of wood flooring for durability purposes. I am requesting assistance for cost to repair driveway/yard and flooring issues repaired. Company manager reached out to Miguel at this point has not responded.

            This company does not care about their customers, customer service, the finished product, or their reputation. They lied about almost everything to get the sale, breached contract day 1, installed the flooring wrong, damaged the material beyond repair, and are giving me the runaround 2 months later to get things fixed. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. The floors were installed incorrectly, they were ruined by the men who installed them (they tracked wood putty all over the luxury vinyl then wiped them all down with acetone), they look awful (due to the acetone and damage sustained during installation), and are they unsafe as they started falling apart 1-2 days after installation (one broke while I was walking on it and I fell down the stairs. I have a child in the household so thank goodness she wasn’t the one who fell). Oh, also the guys who did the install poured a bunch of wood glue and putty down my sink, ruining that too. I have been reaching out to Carmen (the installation manager) about all of this continuously, but she is apathetic, disinterested, and had no sense or urgency to fix these issues.
