      I reached out to Lalos Mobile Mechanics in ******, MD to install new coilovers on my vehicle. I drove over 100 miles for the appointment. When scheduling, I was asked for the make and model of my carwhich should have informed the tech that my rear suspension installs in two pieces (shocks and springs). Upon arrival, I was told they couldnt install the springs and didnt have time, requiring another appointment and extra charges. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have gone elsewhere and saved my money.Another mechanic was shocked the springs werent installed, calling it unsafe and poor workmanship. He also noted the adjusters were missing, though they were clearly in the box, which I later confirmed myself. The job also took much longer than quoted. After leaving, my car made a loud clanging sound. I contacted the shop immediately, and they told me they couldnt return for over 3 hours and claimed the parts were likely defective. If anything had seemed off during install, it should have been addressed before doing the job.Eventually, the mechanic returned and found the issuea bushing problemwhich shouldve been noticed earlier. He made a makeshift fix and charged me extra, even though it was clearly their oversight. On top of this, I specifically asked not to change the ride height, yet the car is now much lower and scrapes on minor bumps. This was dismissed by the tech as a few centimeters, but its caused real issues.The two-hour appointment became a 6+ hour ordeal, not including my long drive. The coilover installation wasnt fully completedold springs remain on the vehicle despite us clearly stating they were to be installed. I provided all the parts and clear instructions. Im disappointed with the service, and now I have to pay someone else to fix their mistakes.
