I am writing this complaint regarding Affordable Dumpster Rental of Baltimore/Washington DC, ************. On February 18, 2022 I called to inquire about a 30 yard roll-off dumpster with same day delivery and pickup to be delivered March 4, 2022 to O' Taste and *****************************************. I was given a quote of $419.00. The payment was deducted from my account on February 1, 2022. An early morning delivery and pick up by 5pm was specified. After multiple phone calls the dumpster was delivered almost four hours later. After several persistent phone calls the dumpster was picked up on time. We had a verbal agreement for pick up and delivery times. Some specifications of the contract states that we are given 2500 pounds of debris at no cost to us, and anything over this weight would cost $65.00 per 1000 lbs. The additional charges would be deducted from the credit card listed. When no deductions were made after two weeks I called to confirm whether or not there were any additional charges and was told there were NONE. However, on April 1, 2022 an additional amount of $637.00 was withdrawn from my account. Several phone call were made but I received the runaround. Following the phone call I received an invoice that says the dumpster weight was 14,800 pounds - 2,500 lbs, = 9,800 lbs X $65.00 per 1,000 lbs = $637.00. After receipt of the invoice I made several attempts via phone calls and emails regarding the additional deduction with no results, only that a new employee made an error. Further, a 30 yard dumpster does not hold 15,000 lbs. Via email I made them aware that it is not my responsibility to pay for an employee error. In several more attempts to resolve this issue I have received excuse after excuse as well as unreturned phone calls. Please help us with this matter so that Affordable Dumpster Rentals will reimburse the $637.00.
