On Saturday, July 5, 2025 I took my vehicle into micro edge tinting to have window tinting done to my vehicle. Once I was home, I noticed that there was damage to the weathering strips on the outside of my windows. It appeared to be burnt and melted. I reached out to the business micro edge tinting on Monday, July 7 due to them being closed Saturday evening and Sunday when I askedthe employee ******** about the damage to my vehicle she claimed she had no idea what I was referring to. She said to me I dont what to tell you I dont know what you want me to say. I then told her that I wanted to know why this was done to my vehicle and that it was unacceptable that they did not bringit to my attention and tried to get away with damaging my vehicle and avoiding responsibility. She then told me that it likely had melted when they used the heat gun to apply the tint on the windows. ******** said she would talk to the manager and told me to call back the following day on Tuesday, July 8. I called back Tuesday, July 8. My call was rejected. I left voicemail. I sent a text messages. I then called on July 9. Finally spoke with ******** again after calling 10 times she said that the manager requested thatI send photos I sent photos and video. I have called every day after that (July 10, July 11, and July 12) and have been avoided. None of my calls, voicemails, emails or text messages been returned. In the meantime, my car is becoming damaged due to water entering the door jam since there is no weathering strip to prevent waterfrom entering I suspect that there will be electrical damage in the future. I have tried to resolve this issue by reaching out directly to the business, they are avoiding responsibility for their negligence. The tent that was put on my vehicle is also not up to par. There is a lot of debris trapped between the tint and the window. I am asking for them to pay for the repairs to my vehicle and to refund what I paid for the poor tint job.

When Customer first called to complain she stated that the outside weather stripping (gasket) was already damaged by sun (dry-rotted) before beinging it to us. She then stated it was melted while in our possession. The Customer is trying to get Micro-edge to pay for a repair of something was already damaged. If there was water leaking it woild have already been leaking with the original damage from the sun.

After our conversation where we told her to send the photos, I was in the hospital for a few days. When I returned on Monday 7.14.25 I was going to call to see how to rectify. Before i was able to, I saw that ******, had already posted a negative review threatening to take us to court for a law suit. Since she threatened legal action all waranty/damage issues are null and void. I attached the signed intake form that she gave permission to her boyfriend, ***** ******, to sign on her behalf since she was working.

To summarize, ****** ***** is trying to get Micro-edge to pay for damage that she admitted was damaged prior to any work done by Micro-edge. Form was signed by Customer waiving any right to pursue legal action.

I am rejecting this response because:

Micro edge has been avoiding responsibility from the beginning. I have photos of my vehicle before it was in their possession as well as currently the condition of my other windows that were not damaged showing their condition and is not damaged from sun rot as micro edge claims. If this issue is resolved I will remove my reviews as they will be making right on their part for negligent damage to my vehicle. The tint they installed is also not up to par. There are particles between the window and tint and severe bubbling un leveled installation. I want my vehicle in the condition it was in before it was in their possession.
    Sincerely,

In the photos attached, in the first photo, it shows my vehicle's condition before it was in the possession of micro edge tinting. You can see that there is no damage to the rear window weathering strip. Two of the Other photos show my front passenger side window and the front driver window (after being tinted), which were not damaged but were tinted the same day as the windows that ARE damaged and were worked on by "********". "********" is the one who admitted that she did the work on the windows that were damaged. She also admitted to the damage being caused by the heat gun. I did not ever mention anything about sun rot. I have never even heard that term. All of the windows on my vehicle are the same age and original to the vehicle. Therefore, they all have the same wear and tear in the photos You will see that there is no wear and tear ("sun rot") on the front windows. she took over a week to get back to me and only is responding because I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and wrote a review online. Which she is now stating the reason why she will not fix my vehicle is because I wrote a bad review and a complaint. The form that was signed in the office was not signed by me, who is the legal owner of the vehicle. I Had no knowledge of this form, and had I read this I would not have accepted, however I do not believe that the clause on this form has any merit. This was not an accident. This was negligence. Aside from the damage, the work that was done to my vehicle was not of quality. I would like my money refunded and she can take the tints off if she would like. She claims that I was happy with the tint that is not the case especially because any business that does tints will tell you to wait a couple of days for bubbling to dissipate. In this case it did not and as the days progressed, I noticed many more issues with the quality of the work that was done.
