              On 8/12/2020 I paid Accolade Moving Co. $7875.00 by cashiers check plus $350 cash tip to the movers. Long story short, many of my items were damaged or lost during the move including damage to my home upon delivery. I followed all the proper channels filing a claim with *******. The damages claim came out to over $600 with no extra protection purchased. Finally we settled on a damages payment of $239.00 which I agreed to simply for the closure of the matter. I have spent countless hours and I would dare to say over 30 phone calls to Accolade, also operating under the company name Witty Movers, who continued to give me the run around. Finally, yesterday I was told that they would not be paying me and the management refused to speak to me because they were the owner and they simply didn't want to talk to me and that life was unfair. Attached is the form from ******* confirming the agreed upon settlement amount that they refuse to pay.

              DO NOT USE THEM!!!! UP CHARGED!!!! We moved from Milwaukee to Washington with this mover. I had several quotes for our move and settled on this company because I was assured that we would be given an exact date for our move as well as no " up charge" upon arrival of the moving truck. The line "as long as you do not move an elephant or a grand piano" you will not be up charged. I even emailed Tom, our agent and he assured me this would not happen. We were not given an exact date but one of 2 days they may arrive. Failure number one. Then even though I had packed all of our things myself, I was still up charged double what we were quoted. When I tried to call Tom, email him no response. I would have cancelled this move but we were on a time crunch and had to vacate our place. The movers charged us for tape, left my place an absolute mess with their old tape rolls etc. We have moved over 21 times in our lives. Many were over seas moves. This had to be the worst move I have ever done due to the service and fees we were charged. Big Scam! Do not use these people.
