On 20 January 2003, I purchased a Maryland Inspected, 2008 **** Focus VIN ****************** for my daughter, ***** ******** from Capital Auto Sales.Everything seemed good until I bought it to our local mechanic, Brunswick Auto Repair for brake work on 25 March 2004, when the business owner and lead mechanic informed me that he refused to work on the cat because it isnt roadworthy and unsafe to drive. He put it on the lift and showed me that the car was apparently flood damaged significant rusting of structural and mechanical components of the undercarriage, and rocker panels improperly repaired, with sheet metal screws through the rusted metal. I took photos of the underside of the car and on 29 March, my daughter and I discussed this with the Capital Auto Sales sales manager, *** ****** and asked him if there was anything he could do to refund our money or replace the car.He said that theres nothing he or his business could do. Contact the place that inspected the vehicle to take care of it.I requested and was given a copy of the Maryland Vehicle Inspection Report it cited that the car passed inspection on 8 August 2022.Upon concluding our conversation with Mr. ****** I provided copies of the photos and stated that his business sold us a fraudulently inspected vehicle.

I bought a truck from them on 10/9/23 as of today 11/30/23 two out of three issues have not been resolved. This truck has been in their shop 90% of the time since I bought it. They have not fixed the problems and have not been responding to my phone calls.

The business stated above, sold us an unsafe automobile. AS the salesperson wrote on our Sales Agreement, Control*****, the ball joints were checked because we heard a loud noise. They lied because the reputable dealer we took it to, which is Fitzgeralds in Frederick, Tie Rod ends are seized, and the Mgr. recommended we not drive the vehicle. They were replaced and the broken struts... That was $2,085.53. The Mgr. asked me, tell me who sold you this car and it should never passed inspection, or sold, because it was unsafe to drive That was on 04/28/2023. The second visit was on05/05/2023. Both control arms were replaced, which included ball joints in the whole unit. Also, the oil plug was leaking. They drove it on the lot to pick up with a broken gas cap and it made the engine sensor go off .We waited while they went and purchased a replacement gas cap, which was not the one with a lanyard..They said that they got the car detailed in Rockville and we didn't give them permission to drive it all the way there because it was on our permission.I had another vehicle following my husband upon picking up the 2011 Kia Sorento XT. He could have wrecked in the driving condition it was in going on Rt. 15 to Rt. 40, to go home. We were very inconvienced without another car and had to suffer great hardships to pay the repair bills. I tried to contact the salesperson and the Mgr. but never got a response but hung up on, if there was any money involved. I just wanted a fair compensation back. The total bill is $3,256.33., for them to mail us a check. I went to pick up our permanent plates from the salesperson, Enrique and I left the bills and a letter to give to the Mgr. He wasnt there. I gave the Mgr. ample time to get back to us and all he could do was hang up on me. I want to als know the name and license of the inspection station because im reporting it to the police So please help

On March 2 2023 I purchased a *** from Capital Auto Sales for ***** down payment after being approved for a loan through *********. On the first day of having my New *** the overheating light came on. I took the *** right back to Capital. They stated that it needed coolant and the issue was fix. How ever I took the *** to a dealer in ********** MD to have a recall fixed on it. I also requested a full check of the vehicle. They then informed me that there was serval things wrong with it including a coolant hose leak and pressure cap not holding pressure. I took the *** back to Capital where i Bought it from and informed them. They stated they will fix it. I also mention that the engine light came on and the *** began to over heat again and smoke. They kept my *** again to fix it with only fixing the pressure cap. Again in a couple day i return to them because i could still smell the coolant while driving significantly. Prior to returning i took the vehicle to ************* to have a full scan and check again. They found several issues with the *** and recommended i take it back to Capital to have them fix it. When i did that the owner of Capital became angry with me and started to belittle me and raise his voice at me and dismissing most of the issues. After a while he stated he would fix it. After getting it back and having **** recheck it, The *** was still not fix but only the hose was fixed. This cost me $165 and lots of ***** to work. My *** spent most of the time in shops than i have been able to drive it. This is the worst experince i ever had.

I am rejecting this response because: I have given the owner proof of the issues that needed fix. I attached a copy of the report and he only fixed the octopus hose and pressure cap. Nothing else was fixed. He dismissed the other issues saying that it did not need done when in fact it does and still does. I just want the problems fixed properly in a timely manner or a full refund.

    Sincerely,

    Bought a 06 Toyota Tundra
from out of State….I found this truck online. I live near San Diego and the truck was in Frederick, Maryland.
I believe that I was told false advertising. The truck was transported to me home yesterday afternoon.
    I specifically requested a non-smoking truck
because I have had asthma for nearly
38 years. It has cloth material interior. Sadly this truck reeks of smoke. I realize there are products that remove some of the smoke but not enough for a life long sufferer of asthma. I sat
inside this truck for 15 minutes and I needed to use my inhaler to help me breath.
Secondly, a big selling point was when they told me that this truck received
high marks on a state of Maryland certificate that assured no problems with the entire truck.
This truck has damage to the front frame and they hide this with black paint! The truck was examined by a repair place that I have used for nearly 20 years. The front frame crumbles when rubbed with a hand. it is possible that this truck could be labeled “totaled”.
When I receive the completed mechanic report later today I will call
Capital Auto Sales where I made this purchase. I paid full price with a cashiers check.

    please help me

    many thanks

    Rich *****
