I moved to Pennsylvania in 2020 and paid to have Jackson Hewitt prepare and file my 2020 and 2021 tax returns for the state of PA by the same individual Kimberly R******** in the Frederick, MD office who stated she was licensed for PA state reurns. I received a letter in the month of December 2022 from the Your/Adams County/PA Tax offices that I had not filed county taxes. I tried contacting/call both Kim and her supervisor Jessica in their Hagerstown, MD office to discuss the matter but they would not take my calls. I left several messages this need to be resolved by the end of December 2022 and was told by staff member Renee that Jessica was aware of my messages but was told she doe not have time to call me. I filed a complaint with the main Jackson Hewitt office and was told they made Jessica aware of my concern but still have not received any response from their offices. Because of their negligence in not filing all proper taxes, I owe penalties for two years. Jackson Hewitt claims they have a policy that states if they make a mistake they will pay any penalties. Well I can't get any one to answer my calls or to resolve my problems and I want Kim and Jessica investigate for fraud.
