    Closed my application after allegedly not receiving my medical records despite my being informed by my doctor the medical records were sent. I went back and forth between this company and my doctor’s office multiple times and wasted my valuable time in the process. The company is trash and should not be entertained by anyone who is serious regarding potential insurance policies.

    Bait & Switch...
    So, I was at the end of my 10 year term policy, and naturally, I wanted to extend my term policy another 15 years. They sent a nurse out to check my vitals, and they were normal. I had a sleep study done at the local hospital to check my heart, which again was fine. They wanted me to do a follow-up (at my expense) on my heart a year later. Saw a cardiologist, who again said my heart was fine but wanted to get a calcium score. That calcium score came back Zero. Turned all the information to Legal & General as per their instructions. The agreed renewal price was $325 per quarter, which was approved! After they received my information, the revised the new price to $758! That's more than double the original price. The underwriter said I had tachycardia. My cardiologist stated that my EKG was normal! If Legal & General didn't want my business anymore, they should have just stated that instead of lying on the renewal form. The underwriter was rude... I'll NEVER do business again with Legal & General.
