      Date of Service: September 46, 2025 Date Issue Discovered: September 7, 2025 Amount Paid: Approximately $3,000 Service Provided: Hardwood floor refinishing Business Contact: **** *** Owner, and **** ***I hired the company to refinish the floors in my vacant property between September 4 and 6, 2025. Prior to the work beginning, I personally checked and locked all of the windows in the home for security purposes. The company was given access through a front door code.When I returned to the property on September 7, 2025, I discovered that all of the windows had been left unlocked, and one of them had a visible crack that was not present before the work was done. The house was vacant during that time, and only the flooring company had access.I contacted the owner, **** **** to ask about the damage. He stated that nothing had happened but said he would come take a look. After several follow-ups, he told me he would have his handyman repair the window. Later, he apologized, explaining that he thought the repair had already been completed.Despite multiple verbal and written assurances that the company would fix the window, as of October 20, 2025, the repair has not been made. When **** *** finally came to inspect the damage, he claimed the company was not responsible, reversing their previous position.The work quality on the floors was good, but the companys handling of this issue has been unprofessional and disappointing. I have text message records documenting their acknowledgment and commitment to repair the window I would like the company to honor their previous commitment and repair or replace the damaged window at no cost to me. If that is not possible, I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of repair once I obtain an estimate.
