    I contracted with Twin Diamond Studios (TDS), owned by ****************************************, to repair and paint my armoire. Previously they had successfullyexecutedprojects forme. The cost of the repairs, painting, potential glazing, and gold highlights on the carving were supposed to be included in the proposal price. I confirmed the job specifics and price with ****** prior to the armoire being picked up. She was supposed to send me an updated contract. ***** never sent the updated contract. At the time I was not concerned due to our past successful projects. Prior to starting I texted my paint choice and expectations for the final look. At pick up, I gave ***** a labeled painted sample. The the armoire was delivered the day before I left town again. The armoire was placed in my garage, where the lighting is poor and it was difficult to see how off the the color was. At the time I was also having problems with my vision. I questioned the color, but ***** assured me that it was the same color as the sample. The hardware was not installed because of a missing piece of hardware. ***** promised to install it once I had the additional piece. ***** wanted full payment. I paid ***** in full because of my previous experience with TDS. After I arrived back in town, I texted my concerns about the missed repairs, method of painting, incorrect color, glazing, hardware and overbilling.TDS did not really address the missed repairs and said I should correct the paint myself nor did they addressed the hardware installation or overbilling. A repair where a gap at the top of the molding was filled in has opened causing the paint to crack along the molding underneath and down another joint. Initially, ****** said she would return to glaze and add the gold highlights, but quit responding when I questioned how that would look given the incorrect paint color. I have been willing to accept the additional billing for the repairs, the missed repairs and the spray paint method.
