This business is now called Greenbelt of Honda 6500 *********************************** MD ***** 8/14/2024 I went in for a sound coming from the back of my car when I braked. When I originally dropped off my car the sales associate ***** mentioned it could be my brakes, and I told him I had my brakes done the last time. He said my maintenance history was in their system. ***** came back to me with $4k worth of services: Front and back brake/rotors, replace right wheel bearing, tension belt, battery, sparks plug, transmission flush, and brake fluid. I approved the order. When I walked away he started clapping and called another sales associate over. I sat down and figured that he was happy he probably gets a commission. Something about the entire exchange didnt sit well with me. I asked several ppl, and they told me to stop the order asap. When I called to have him stop the services, he told me they already replaced the battery and brakes.I paid almost $2k for those services. Later I checked my documentation, and had my front brakes and rotors replaced in Jan, they were under warranty. I went back and demanded my money, which I did receive $700. My previous work orders are in their system and I was scammed. On my receipt of services, it said I requested a new battery which I did not. My battery was probably fine, but Ill never know.I went to another Honda location and explained what happened. The tech said I got ripped off. I did need the belt tensioner and it's $300 cheaper at the other location. Then he said there's nothing wrong with my wheel bearing, which Greenbelt was trying to charge $800. I didn't need spark plugs which Honda quoted for $450. Or a $200 transmission flush, when that fluid was replaced in Jan.Totaled $2,450 that they tried to scam me. Breakdown: $700 front brakes and rotors, $300 extra for tension belt, $450 spark plugs, $200 transmission flush, and $800 wheel bearing. Completely unethical and disappointing.

Worse service experience ever!! The people were nice but they couldn't get their act together.
The first thing I mentioned to the service tech was that the back brakes be thoroughly checked since I was planning several trips. He told me the multi-point checkup included the brakes. When I came to pick up the car, no one could tell me if the brakes were OK or not. They just tried to sell me up on other services. I left. It took 3 emails over 2 weeks to the service manager (SM) to find out the brakes were not checked and it costs $90 to have that done.
I also asked for a quote to replace one wheel lug bolt that another company was paying to replace. I was never called with a quote nor was the work done. I mentioned this to another member of their staff and he said he’d email a quote that day. That didn’t happen and I didn’t receive the quote¬ until the SM responded 2 weeks later.
Finally, I was billed twice for the service. I called 3 times and was never connected to the cashier. The line kept ringing endlessly. On one of the calls when it did bounce back to the receptionist, she said she’d find the cashier and have her call me back. Never got a call back. At last, the service manager called and corrected it.
