Hired company for deck installation. Preexisting deck had a roof attached that was stable and sound with beams attached to it that ran through the deck into concrete below. Company destabilize roof. Roof is now damaged and pulling away from the home. Company was told the day of the install that beams they placed and changed us extra for we're not attached to the roof. They cut the beams to short and failed to attach. That concern was ignored and they continued working. Roof is now damaged and will fall if not corrected. Company failed to get a permit for work although it is in their contract to do so as well as leaving my property in the condition they found it, that meet code and all safety requirements. The company admitted to sending a crew that was not certified to handle roof support and are asking me to pay additional money to correct the damage they caused, saying now it was rotten which was not sited in their estimate and is only an attempt to get more money. I have been in close contact through phone, email and pictures with no resolution. Repair and/ or replacement done by a permitted installer and paid by the company.Business response

Better Business Bureau: For whatever reason I can not open the business response, however the business has given a partial refund and I have moved on. Again I can not read their response.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

CHAMPION HOME IMPROVEMENTS LLC , HAVE CALLED ME FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS MOSTLY DURING THE SUMMER , IT HAS BEEN THE SAME PERSON THAT CALLS . AFTER NUMEROUS TIMES OF TELLING THEM TO STOP CALLING ME REMOVE ME FROM THEIR LIST AND EVEN YELLING AT THEM . THEY CONTUINUE TO CALL ME AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK ON 6/23/22 THEY LEFT A VOICE MAIL . 2 DAYS AGAO THEY CALLED AGAIN AFTER THE REALIZE IT WAS ME AGAIN THEY WOULD HANG UP AND THEN CALL AGAIN THE NEXT DAY I EVEN TOLD THEM I WOULD FILE A COMPLAINT THEY WILL NOT CALLING SO TIRED OF IT AND WANT SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THIS . I HAVE ALL MY PHONE BILLS THAT CAN SHOW THEIR CALLER ID NUMBER NON STOPBusiness response

Hello. I'm sorry about the calls that are disturbing you. Please send me the number that it is coming from and the number that they are calling. I will have your name removed. We have seniors working from home and they don't know how to use technology well so they fail to remove people sometimes.

I am under contract with Champion Home Improvement LLC ref a composite deck project. Demolition and removal of the old wood deck debris is part of contract specification. Champion contactor dug a footer hole exposing underground wiring on 06/19/2021 after Miss Utility Ticket ******** expired on 06/04/2021 which is against the law. Uncovered hole with exposed wiring and deck debris with jagged wood/rusty nails is a safety hazard. Champion response of "indefinite wait" for remedy is unacceptable. Safety issues must be addressed immediately. ******** ***** ****** company and customer asked champion to put tarp over deck building supplies to protect materials from inclement weather/damage. Neighbors complaining about huge pile of unmoved deck debris. Poor planning, logistics and coordination has plagued this deck project which started on 06/18/2021. Champion job-site work seems unqualified, unskilled and unprofessional. Champion needs to fix this asap.Business response
