They were contracted to remodel our bathroom which took a year from the contract date to start. The work was done within a weeks time. In the process of bringing in the bathtub, they damaged our entryway wood flooring. I went to install windows curtain rods and the screws went threw the wall. The outlets are all loose. The caulk around the tub already started coming off less than a year from the finished time. We have not been able to get in contact with the company since the main office got damaged from a fire. Left tons of messages and no one ever returns our calls and now the number is disconnected. Worst customer service.

Elite Remodeling took thousands of dollars for us for a windows project in early 2023, and the last contact we received from them was June of 2023. There was a fire in their office in June of 2023. We never received a letter or call from Elite Remodeling after their fire. Suspiciously, none of their phones now work, they do not respond to emails, their social networking sites are down, and their main website has disappeared. It took us going to their office site of the burned down building to realize we had been scammed -- I do not believe this business has any intention of giving customers back their down-payments on projects contracted. After doing research, I now know that Elite Remodeling has not just done this to us but many other customers. I do not believe, based on what I have found, that this company currently exists.

In 2020 I paid 8,597.00, fix major issue which in order to repair the siding and trim had to be replaced. It is only 2023 and you can see where the rain is coming down on wall. I have tried to call the number it appears to be disconnected, I have called the main office and left messages no call back. What do I do at this point the warrant is for life, can you direct me.
    Thank you,

Paid 5200 in advance for materials for a siding job that was supposed to be August 2 through August 9th. No answers to phone, email act. I want materials or money back. I understand there was a fire and a phone call would have gone a long way.

******** ** I have the SAME EXACT issue with this company as you! I wish I could give 0 stars. "Jake" came to our home at the end of May and shortly after we signed the contract to have our bedroom bathroom remodeled, the company had the fire. In all honesty, I didn't do the research I should have on this business because when I found out about the fire, I then started seeing that well before the fire, they had customer complaints. Jake Jacobson, came to our home and told us about the company and how great they were. We said we needed to have our project completed by the August. Jake assured us that they could deliver this date even after we were told there was a fire. During the sale, Jake gave us the name of a loan company that Elite uses. We were approved and we were happy that we would be getting our projected started. About a week or so later, we received a "text message from someone named Maria telling us that we needed to authorize the payment from the company and have it sent to them. We had no reason to question this since we had been approved. After a guy named Bryan came out to measure, we got ANOTHER message stating that they needed another payment since the measurements had been done. To date, this company has received close to $8,300 from the loan company and they have ghosted us. I called Jake to complain because after all, he is the guy who sold us the product. He told me he doesn't do scheduling.. I kept calling and this guy sent a text that wasn't meant for me that said, "I have not blocked her from my phone, she will just keep calling without a call". My response.. "Thank you, I now know I have been intentionally blocked from communicating with you and I will add this to my records". Simply put.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This has been the worst home improvement issue I have ever had.. Also, it's now Sept. 14th, and we have not heard from them since July.. They had NEVER CALLED TO SCHEDULE OUR PROJECT.. RUN! Don't walk away from Elite Remodeling!

We contracted with this company for a 2-phase remodel of our home in December of 2022. Phase 1 was to redo the second bath in the home. It was a complete gut job, down to the studs. The Phase 1 went well considering several set-backs that were not the fault of the company or us. We were well pleased.
However, Phase 2 was another matter. They were always asking for more draw for the job, which they had not started. We agreed to finance the job with a "no payments - no interest" loan for 24 months. This loan required that all the "draws" be completed within 6 months of the loan origination. Just before the fire at their office we approved the final draw for the remainder of the $50,000.00, after $20,000.00 down. They gave us a check for $10,000.00 that we could cash or hold until the job was completed. We chose to hold the check. We attempted to cash the check yesterday and the bank refused, telling us to contact the company that wrote the check.
As the others have commented before us, they do not answer their phones and if you leave a message they do not return any calls, although they say they will return all calls. Yesterday the office phone just clicks and goes dead. "Jake" does not return calls from his cell phone. I have contacted the bankruptcy courts in Maryland and Pennsylvania - they have not filed for bankruptcy as of September 13, 2023. Those of us who have paid for our jobs in advance seem to be out of luck.
I thought we had done our homework. We actually checked them out on-line and thought we had made a good decision. I must have been mistaken.

Can I give >1 star? I found this company at a local home and garden show, where I scheduled them to come and do a quote. "Jake" arrived on time, and was very personable, and charming. He walked through everything and sounded like a solid company (NOTE TO SELF **DO YOUR HOMEWORK FROM NOW ON!) So i agreed on a price, and plan to have this completed by June 2023, mind you this was in March 2023 that this was set up to be completed. Just as others have mentioned they were keen and persistent on getting your money. I paid in 2 months to them $13,400 for a down payment to remodel 2 bathrooms, and install 2 new doors. I was very excited and again seemed like a decent company. After "Jake" left I literally have made every phone call, and contact with the company. I sent them everything they needed for the design. There is a person called Bob Hoppa who works within the company, and basically is very rude and could care less about getting anything done for you as a customer. Then they had a fire on 6/7/2023, but this was ONLY to the office. Not the warehouse and not the workers. I'm pretty sure they can access their emails and phone calls to cell phones. But since June 1st (before the fire) was the last time I spoke with anyone. Nothing. I have made multiple attempts to contact by calling, texting and emails to all the numbers I had. Still not one person reached out. You would think if they are worried about their customers they would have extra staff come in to assist them. Two of the businesses that were actually burned have since reopened in another building. Again, if they claim to be so busy and a good company why would they not try to get some extra help and contact those of us who have already paid large sums of money. Yet crickets... and its been OVER 2 months. I read the response they wrote to another reviewer and all they make is excuses instead of attempting to fix the problem and contact the people who have scheduled jobs that have been paid.

I ordered and paid 2/3 ($4,000) toward window replacements in February 2023. Since then I have received one email from them in June, stating that they were setting up a schedule. No word since then even after my repeated attempts to contact them. I understand that there was a fire, but they could a least answer the queries of customers with the courtesy of a phone call reply. I am not expecting an install date, but I would like to know that they are in business, and that my $4,000 is not lost.

ZERO stars for ZERO work!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS, feels like they are scamming us & it’s a fraud!
Elite Remodeling was more than happy to come to our home & take our money June 19th (& credit card information for the balance upon completion). Note: the fire was June 7th (2 weeks prior). This has me concerned because I’ve called & left many messages on all the available numbers given to me, including texting the owner “Jake” directly & zero communication regarding the project, no response from them for not showing up as scheduled with a start date on the contract of 7/17/23 & finish date of 7/19/23. They were a NO SHOW & NO CALL TO EXPLAIN!!! I’m tired of their blatant disrespect & now I’m turning them in to the BBB for “bad business” procedures. The project specialist “Mike” met me two weeks AFTER the fire & gave his word it would be done in July as per the contract. It is now August and still no respect to us customers by calling, texting, etc.
I paid more than the down payment they required at the signing of the contract & cannot believe they are permitted to continue business under these conditions and obvious other complaints. Something has to be done to rectify this problem soon!

I also paid for work on May 25, 2023 to be done in my attic. I have made numerous call and sent many emails with no response. I am ready to call Maryland Home Improvement Commission.
