    On May 1, my hot water heater burst in my home. I immediately contacted my home warranty service provider ***** Home Warranty Services to place a claim so that I can have my an accredited plumber to come replace the hot water heater. On May 2 Mr. Dwayne J****** from Priority #1 Sewer & Drain Service came to my home to complete the repair. My warranty company covered the repair, however Mr. J****** stated that there were additional charges that were not going to be covered under warranty and charged me $1575 to finish the repair. I called my warranty company to confirm accuracy and learned that I was overcharged by Mr. J******, since my warranty covered all of the charges. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do no let this company do any work on your property. He is a dishonorable scammer. I hope that my experience will alert others to not allow this company to do work in their homes.

    On Friday, September 9, 2022, ***** Home Warranty sent Mr. Dwayne J************ out to assess a water heater problem. While out there, I was trying to also fix a washer problem that was also occurring. When draining, water was coming up from the pipe. Mr. J********* stated he was a plumber and could fix my washer problem at the same time he installed my water heater. He came the next day and replaced the water heater and looked briefly at the washer briefly and told me it was a main line problem and that the main line out to the road had to be snaked. He said that would fix the problem and said it would be $895. I paid him. He came back that Sunday, three hours late, and snaked my house. He worked for less than an hour before he said it was a city problem and called in ** Sewer and Water to come out. They did, snaked my house again, and found no problem. The next day, after informing Mr. J******** that the city said it was not a main line problem, insisted it was and called them again to come out. The second plumber from ** Water and Sewer came out, looked out at the main line and said that the problem was a clogged drain behind my washer and subtly warned me about the advise I was receiving from Mr. J***********. He told me simply that the drain needed to be snaked and the problem had nothing to do with the main line. I texted Mr. J********* and let him know what the plumber said and he disagreed and said he would be out the next day at 2pm. He did not show and at 2:30 I reached out and he said he was unable to come out and scheduled to come back out the next morning between 9 and 10 and he of course did not show and did not call. I called a differently plumber to come out and he confirmed what the DC Water and Sewer plumbers told me and that Mr. J********* had scammed me. This plumber snaked behind the washer and fixed my problem. I only paid him $400. Mr. J********* did scam me.
