On March 4, 2025 I took my car in for repairs due VEIP text results. (Diagnostic Trouble Codes - P0442 evaporative emission system leak detected(small leak) """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" - P0456 evaporative """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" very small leak I paid $360.26 - 1) text EV leak 2) text smoke test 3)text replace vent solenoid 4) text vent solenoid 5) text gas cap 6) text **** *****- The description of repairs shown on my invoice did not pass VEIP inspections.I took the car back to Chaney Tire and Auto within a month to see why they claimed to have repaired the problem. Then they told me a crazy story about not being able to have the parts, and that they would call me when they find the part. How does someone charge you for a repair that's not repaired. How does someone say to you that they don't have the part but fixes something that's not relevant to what I've asked them to do.

I took my car to Chaney's Tire & Auto on February 22, 2023 for my regular oil change and they changed my oil with no problems. This is not the first time I have used Chaney's for my vehicle maintenance. When I took my car back for its next scheduled oil change which was on June 19, 2023, I was told that they couldn't drain the oil. I told them they changed my oil in Feb. I had to take my car to the dealership for the oil change and I was told that the bolt was stripped. I was confused. I was told that I needed a new oil pan. I informed the manager at Chaney's of this and he said that the oil pan was a "bad design" and refused to take responsibility. The cost of the new oil pan cost me $900 which I don't have!, but I had to get this done.
