I hired McLean Contracting,LLC to build a deck and patio in April 2022 and at that I had to give a deposit of $4,100.00 dollars and the start date was to be in August 2022. I was told it would take 30 days for the plans for the deck to be ready it 4 months to get plans for the deck and patio yes from 4/27/2022 to 8/1/2022 .So when I got the plans I gave them to HOA to be approved and I got them approved on 8/17/2022 so I call McLean Contracting to let them know we could now start on the deck. At which time ************* McLean told me that he could not start until 9/2022 because he was going Vacation and I said to him why are going on Vacation with all this work and his reply was he needed it so I said ok see U in 9/2022 . Do not hear anything in 9/2022 so on 10/15/2022 I called ************* McLean about my deck and his words were *************** I am still trying to get to U so at that point I look I would like my deposit money back and said *************** I do not want to give U money back U might get someone else to do your deck and they might charge U more let me see if I can move some jobs around and call U back. This was on 10/15/2022 and he called back on 11/15/2022 and said he could start on 11/17/2022 and I said that will not work me because is to close to Thanksgiving and it is cold outside and all of patio furniture I would have to bring side so just refund my deposit because at this point and time I do not trust U anymore. I have tired to talk to ************** McLean and U can talk to me he just want to keep my money . And by the I think he doing this because I am 72 yr. Senior with no one to help
