Refund and Exchange Policy

Due to the fact that the majority of our products are living beings, Garden Goods Direct does not accept returns, all sales are final. Non-living items such as fertilizers, grass seed, planting soil, watering bags, hoses, pots/planters and other non-perishable garden goods can be returned at the customers expense with a 25% restocking fee. Items must be received in saleable condition prior to issuing a credit. We do not refund shipping costs. Accepting the delivery of the product ensues the customer accepts the seller’s terms and conditions of sale. In no circumstance will Garden Goods Direct liability be greater than the cost paid for the order. 

Garden Goods Direct has partnered with Route to offer our customers the option to protect their order with shipping insurance. Route reduces effort through a seamless claims filing process for lost, damaged*, or stolen items. In the unfortunate case where your order is lost, stolen, or damaged* it is easy to resolve with a one-click claims process. When a claim is filed, Route will reorder the item, or refund the purchase at no additional cost. Please note that Route claims must be filed within 15 days of receipt. Orders not protected by Route are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Garden Goods Direct is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged* product not protected by shipping insurance. 

*Damaged product includes frozen, significantly broken, and/or irreparable harm caused during the transit period. Damage to pots, spilled soil, and/or superficial damage to leaves does not qualify an order for replacement or refund. Items received not as expected will be evaluated by the Garden Goods Direct team on a case by case basis to determine if a claim is warranted.
