    There’s nothing relaxing about letting these clowns at Hoover Roofing LLC “handle it”.
    This father and son duo are human garbage and only “work” 4 days a week 4-5 hours a day.
    I’ve personally know this father and son for years and they totally screwed me over and caused a lot of damages to my roof.
    When I told Don and Terrance about the damages their “crew” caused to my roof I was accused of causing the damage myself!
    They didn’t come back once to look at the roof!
    They decided to get lawyers involved and file a lawsuit after I paid them 23k in cash before the job was even half way done!
    After my lawyer reviewed the contract, he found Hoover Roofing isn’t even licensed in Virginia and committed fraud by taking on the job in Va without a Va contractors license!
    Hoover roofing is licensed in Maryland and DC (although their DC license expired in June 2021)
    Donald Fay Hoover (the owner)yelled, cussed, and even threatened me when I called him to get a timeline of when the work would be completed.
    Don also waiting to order more materials after all the materials were used, which added a 3 week lead time to “complete” my roof.
    They did not complete the work stated in the contract and caused $12,500 worth of damages to my brand new roof.
    I have a quote from a licensed Virginia contractor to fix the damages of $12,500.
    Their crew also damaged my siding by dropping Z flashing off a ladder.
    After spending stupid $ on legal fees to hire a lawyer they decided to just drop their civil suite because they knew no judge in their right mind could ever side with these clowns and their frivolous lawsuit!
    Zero stars for these clowns and I recommend you learn from my mistakes and never “..Let a Hoover handle it”

    When we walked off the job we were prepared to warrantee the work for 5 years as stated in the contract. The roof passed final inspection and does not have an active leak. When the customer made it clear that he would not pay us, we sought council. The matter went to litigation, both parties agreed to walk away

    Hoover Roofing never came back once to assess the damage they’re crew caused once. Don Hoover cursed and threaten me when I told him that there is damages and never once came back to the job site ONCE to assess the damages caused by their crew. Don Hoover nor Hoover Roofing has no idea if my roof passed inspection because he never came back and has no idea if it is currently leaking because once again, he never came back!
    Hoover Roofing IS NOT a licensed contractor in the state of Virginia, therefore the warranty mentioned is absolutely worthless.
    Hoover Roofing is a fraudulent company and I recommend they’re BBB rating be a “F-“
