We contracted with VP Construction (now "******** LLC") in January 2019 and our addition is still incomplete (Summer 2021), having failed the final inspection. This is for a project that *** estimated would take four months. ******** and his son pushed many flaws to be 'cured' at the end, then abandoned us when we were down to the final draw, leaving a long list of problems to resolve. While we paused the first months of 2020 due to the pandemic, they refused to return over that summer or beyond, even to fulfill the warranty on work they'd already performed. The Father-and-son operation failed to pay a sub, who put a lien on our property despite our having promptly paid for that work. Third parties have told us the HVAC VP installed is such a mess that they'd have to rip out the whole system and start from scratch. The blueprint measurements were wrong, the framing had to be remediated by a third party, pipes plumbed where doorways should be, no shut-off valves installed under sinks, windows installed sideways...problems every step of the way. The electrician used our sump pump well as a garbage bin for wire pieces. Other workers likewise swept construction dust into our floor registers. The entire experience was miserable; cutting corners seems to be their business model.

This is factually incorrect. VP Construction LLC is fully operational and the ******** LLC is actually ******** Industries, LLC (this company does not perform any work in the Northern Virginia area and not owned by ** Tim ********). The lien issue was a result of having to close for COVID and the painting contractor just wanted to protect themselves. This customer was contacted and we tried to come to a resolution during covid and were unsuccessful. We have emerged from COVID and the customer was left with ample funds from the project to complete the work necessary and we will be glad to provide documentation/pictures and or discuss any issue that is implied and or factually incorrect. Our company has completed hundreds of large scale projects and had to make tough decisions during covid and feel we made a reasonable attempt to rework the project completion guidelines but were unable to come to agreement.
