    Back in September 2024, Maryland Tree Care was paid to trim a tree and remove the debris in my back yard. During their process, they damaged part of my vinyl fence. I have contacted them multiple times about repairing the fence, but nearly a year later they have not had the fence repaired or paid me any amount of money for me to have the fence repaired.

    The customer is justified in his aggravation- we attempted to get the correct part for the top of his fence, however, no one has that correct product style which the customer has been told several times. The owner finally found a part that will work and his fence will be repaired asap. I know the delay is frustrating and I apologize and am working to get this resolved as quickly as I can.

    I received an email from the Better Business Bureau on Friday, August 8, 2025 which states that I have 5 business days to respond.

    Today is only Wednesday, August 13, 2025 and is only 3 business days.

    My response to Maryland Tree Care's comments are below:

    Their comments are entirely FALSE!  I was NEVER told, at any time, that they couldn't get a top rail.  In fact, I have a text message from ***** (the owner) on Tuesday, June 10, ************************************************************************************************************ Sunday (see attached screenshots of his text messages).  Needless to say he never showed up.  I have a follow up message from him on Tuesday, June 17, ****************************************************************** the next day and would install it on Saturday, June 21, 2025.  Again, he never showed up.  On Saturday, June 28, 2025 I asked to be paid $100 for the damages and I would worry about getting it repaired myself.  Unfortunately, I never heard anything from them until Friday, July 18, 2025.  His text message states that he would be at my house over the weekend to take care of the fence.  He never came over to repair the fence and never contacted me again.  Please see the attached screen shots supporting my statements.  It's clear they never had any intentions to pay for the repairs.  I'm still requesting to be paid $100 for the damages and I will worry about getting it fixed myself.
