    I am furious about the excessive towing charges from "Mr. Know It All Towing." After our accident on July 22, 2024, they towed our car and misled us by saying the cost was covered by insurance, without providing any details. When we finally got our car back on July 24, 2024, we were stunned to find a bill exceeding $4,000. This is an outrageous and exploitative amount for a mere 2.6-mile tow and two nights of storage, especially when average costs are around $325.

    This excessive bill is a blatant rip-off and is sure to adversely affect our insurance premiums, despite being covered. I demand that you address this issue by ensuring we are only charged a fair market rate for the towing and storage services. Such egregious overcharging must be rectified immediately.

    Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

    The alleged business owner has refused to release vehicle on multiple occasions; citing that there is an outstanding bill but has not provide an estimate, bill or invoice to alleged consumer.

    Individual stated that he would provide a repair estimate and has failed to do so for more than three months. Business has continued to deny consumer control, use and possession of vehicle.

    When asked by legal and/or law enforcement officials, business owner has not provided an specified amount to be paid.

    In addition, no access has been provided to consumer to possession. Business owner was notified that business did not have consumers permission to take and/or keep car.
