      On Dec 19th I contacted the Call Center regarding a systems issue with the Due Date for my line of credit/loan. After the technology conversion, I made a payment and my due date for the next payment stayed the same. This date usually changes to the next due date which is always two weeks out. However, because it never changed, the next I made a payment it did change but is now two weeks behind. I constantly receive letters stating my payment is pass due by $0.00. I informed the rep of this on Dec 19th, he assured me he would send a message to the loan dept and they would contact me. Never did. Feb 9th I call the call center to follow up on this. I spoke to the rep and she stated she would email the rep I spoke to before and that he would reach out in 24 - 48 hrs. Never did. Feb 16 (the day I’m writing this) I call the call center after calling on Feb 12 and electing for a call back while I wait in line and never receiving it. Feb 16 I explain this situation for the THIRD time to another rep who then puts me on hold for forever while she spoke to the loan dept. The loan dept refused to speak with me directly (I asked to speak to a supervisor when I first called in) and told her no one could talk to me and that they had to put in a ticket. I asked to speak to her supervisor (the call center supervisor) who just restated what the rep said and changed nothing. I am now STILL waiting for a response for TWO MONTHS. Every time I called in, none of the notes on my record explained the issue correctly, so clearly everyone is half listening. They asked me repeatedly “so you’re trying to change your due date, there’s an issue with the balance” I never stated either of those. This is terrible customer service as per usual. MECUs reputation continues to precede them. Once my balance is paid, I will be ending any further business with MECU as it’s clear they don’t respect their customers and couldn’t care less about their satisfaction.

      I financed my vehicle through MECU Credit Union in April 2022. Despite consistently making payments without defaulting, I've received threatening letters from the bank about repossession, claiming I owe a balance of $797.48. I have proof of every payment, all of which are made automatically from my account. Additionally, MECU alleges they never received my insurance declarations page, despite my mailing it multiple times and uploading it to their website. Visiting their Baltimore location proved unhelpful, as employees directed me to call customer service. Today, on 04/12/2024, I contacted the insurance department, and the representative uploaded my declarations page, which was never on file since 2022 despite my numerous submissions. Due to someone's negligence, I've been sent to collections for an issue not of my making. This situation has instilled fear that my car could be repossessed due to an employee's mistake. MECU's handling of this matter has been profoundly disappointing, and I regret choosing to finance with them
