      Clayton Tree service did work for a neighbor. At no time where they given permission to come onto our property. They drove on our property and dropped a container and cause large ruts and damage to the ground. I have made numerous attempts to contact them to resolve it just to be ignored. I would like our property fixed from a landscape company now that isnt associated with Claytons Tree Service. I do not want them on my property anymore.

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/22) */ We did a job for a customer on 10/11/22 for complainant's neighbor. I want to start by saying there are several houses in this area, all sharing the same driveway & all have the same house number. The property in question is a grassy area in front of a field between the customer's house & complainant's house, there is also patches of woods in between as well. There were no signs indicating who owned the property, nor were there any private property or no trespassing signs. Due to the driveway & housing set up we did not know it was his property. The complainant called our office to make his complaint on 10/12/2022 & our Estimator / Foreman personally went to his home on 10/14/22 to speak with him, so he was definitely not ignored. Our Estimator / Foreman apologized & told him it would be taken care of the following day 10/15/22 which it was. We sent some men out to soil, seed & straw the area he was unhappy about, which was mostly just smashed down grass that will fluff back up in a little time. Our only other option would be to put the container down in the shared driveway which would have taken up the width of it. That would have caused the residents of the several houses who share the driveway to either be stuck with no way out or they would have had to drive off the driveway on the same grassy area in question to go around. Doing that would have caused more damage to this grassy area most likely. We did not know it was his property at the time & we did go out to speak to him & we did correct the issue, so I do not know why he is saying he was ignored & nothing was done about it. Please see attached photos I'm emailing to Ms Clay. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/10/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I would like to say yes the situation has been corrected and repaired. This complaint was filed a little over 48 hours after initial contact before anyone just showed up. I do feel like they didnt take the situation seriously. I called Wednesday morning first thing. Told them about the issue and said I wanted a call so we can rectify it. Several days goes by so yes I felt ignored. All of a sudden with no phone call or appointment Friday evening a man shows up. It was like he was being sneaky and trying to look at the damage but we seen him so he approached us. Why wouldn't he just call and say he was on his way? Why just ignore someone and show up days later unannounced. This was handled extremely poorly by Clatons. The following day after he just showed up yes it was repaired. I had asked him that evening to get in contact with me when they repair it so I know they are on my property again. Someone just showed up and fixed it and left. Once again no contact after requested. I have never heard from them again to ask if I was satisfied with the work. They basically snuck in. Went on my property and repaired it and left. I do appreciate it being repaired. What was lacking was the non existent communication through out the process. You can close this case since it was opened before the repair but clearly they need to have better more professional communication.
