My experience with ************* was terrible. I ordered macarons for my daughter's baby shower. I paid $160.00 for 4 dozen. I kept them refrigerated until an hour before serving as ****** suggested. Everyone who tried them took one bite, then threw the rest out, all complaining how terrible they were tasting like chemicals or cough syrup. I had no choice but to throw the majority of them in the barrel. I was upset and extremely disappointed as I continued to hear complaints from guests. I contacted ******* by email that day and also followed up with three phone call voice messages throughout the week. Bad batch, owner finally responded a week later and offered 24 macarons. Due to this bad experience, I did not want any more of these macarons. She will not give any type of refund or credit. Be careful with *******, if your wedding cake is awful and you pay lots of money for it, you might get a small cake to have with your husband and that is only if you call and text multiple times. She said you are responsible to try it before it leaves her store. Have you ever seen people trying their pastry before they leave the store? She said once it leaves her store, she is no longer responsible. Bad business and a huge rip-off.

*****, I must point out a few things that you MISSED on the review, as its sad and unfortunate that people will twist the truth in an attempt to damage a small business's reputation. The truth is that you were not my customer and did not place an order with this business. The person who did place the order (****************) was given written directions on storage and serving etc. and was contacted in less than 24 hours of seeing your emails. We can only communicate with the individual who placed the order. Adding insult to injury, you wrote in your emails that you served the macarons at the wrong temperature and are now clearly lying about it. Verbatim from your email: I went home and put them in my refrigerator, took them out this morning, drive 7 minutes down the road and put in the refrigerator at ***************** for my daughter's bridal shower brunch. The server took out of refrigerator and we served them chilled. You also stated that you actually NEVER tasted any of them yourself and neither did ***************. I and all employees tasted and re-tasted the exact ****************** and everything was correct. There was nothing wrong with Mr. ******* order. ***** missed the exit to the high road, and have made numerous threats to damage our reputation if we failed to heed to your demands. After you threatened to leave reviews & complaints, harassing me on my personal social media and requesting a full refund for products that had nothing wrong with them, I still reached out to **************** who placed the order (and who's baby shower it was) to offer them replacements, even though they received exactly what they ordered. I guess its worth spending countless hours harassing our small business for the return of a $155 French Macaron Tower. A $155 that we earned. We are a small business that has grown over the last 10+ years because we produce a quality product and treat our customers with respect and dignity. We can no longer say that 100% of our customers reciprocate with the same high level of respect and dignity. *****, I hope you enjoy the upcoming birth of your new grandchild.

Everything in my email is correct and accurate. It was clear I was the purchaser as **************** did explain to you that my daughter used his phone to place the order and I paid for it. All payments were made with my charge card and **************** did explain this to you so you were very aware I was the purchaser. I was also the person who picked up the order from you. I followed your instructions to the tee and explained this clearly to you. The guests who tried these macaroons are very reputable people and the macaroons were not eatable. I had many complaints from people who would not normally complain about anything. This is why I did not try them, there were enough complaints to assure me of this. I asked for a credit to at least get some of my money back for a bad product that was not edible, instead you tell me the product was fine. You take this as a threat? Instead you take $160 of my money, give me a product that can not be eaten without getting sick and justify it was fine. I wrote this review to help the next person who might be subject to this bad business on an occasion which is so important to them. You should be ashamed of yourself!
