I signed a contract with *** Oliveira and he requested a deposit of ****. I gave him check #**** dated Aug 22,2022. Id also like to mention that the discount in the contract of $1079. was because I was buying the paint. He was going to try to paint the front of the house last Sept 2022 and the other 3 sides in the Spring of 2023 but then emailed me saying he would not be able to get there until Spring 2023. I have 23 emails with *** stating he would be here on certain dates then never show. Last contact from *** was on Aug 7 saying he would be here in a week and a half. On Sept 2 and again in an email on Sept 7 I requested my deposit back and have not heard from him. There have also been numerous phone calls left unanswered if I was able to leave him a message. Most times his mailbox was full. I feel I have been more than patient waiting for him to come do the job. Im so disappointed in his lack of professionalism and communication. Now I need to start the process over again lining up a new painter for next Spring. Such a waste of time and effort spent just to try to get him to do his job. I would like him to return my deposit.
