I asked about Vitamin D3 and what components make it up. I am happy that the pure folks answered fairly quickly. I am not happy with the answer though. I've been doing a deep dive into all supplements, all companies that we've been using in our house. Trying to be healthy, I'm unhappy to learn that Vitamin D3 supplements are either made by Lichen/fungus, and/or, lanolin from sheep. ******* has been used in industrial as well. Pure answered that their D3 is by lanolin by China....that does not suit my needs. It is a shame that companies, **** of companies are using products for supplements that are harmful to health. In 2023 it is said that the American contact ****************** names lanolin as a allergen of the year. Using supplements products that cause harm to individuals is just as bad as prescribed RX's that cause harm to individuals. I guess we won't be buying supplements from any companies any more, and will just continue to eat proper foods, etc. Hopefully the current Administration will get things organized so people can be healthy! It is not really Pures fault they are selling this stuff and making money, its our fault for not doing our research, and buying supplements from several companies we thought were safe.

Dangerous packaging-expiration dates wear off! This company is irresponsible and seriously putting people's safety at risk. I have two bottles of their Potassium Iodide (Iodine) and the expiration dates on both bottles wore off with minor handling of the bottles. I just spoke to customer service at the company and the rep even told me the expiration date had worn off on one of her bottles! They offered my no refund or coupon of any kind-great customer service! $40 essentially stolen from me..Guess what? I am filing a complaint with the **** BBB and Dep't of Consumer Affairs and will be completing more online reviews to make the public aware how dangerous this company is to people's safety.
