I Purchased a 2021 Mercedez Benz AMG GT 53 with aprox 7600 miles for 85k - March 12th. I had a phone call with one salesman, I had a facetime call with another salesman before the purchase was made. I asked if the car was hit, repainted or had any wheels refinished. I was told no 2 times and the second time it was recorded. After the sale the car was shipped to Long Island ** and arrived Saturday March 23rd. After paying ** sales tax on the vehicle I went to have the car inspected and discovered that 2 of the rims were refinished and the front 3rd of the car had been repainted. I called the dealership on Monday March 25h and spoke with the Certified pre owned manager ****** who informed me they knew the car was repainted because they repainted it. He also informed me that they had refinished the front wheels. I asked why they had lied about the condition of the car and he said he had nothing to do with the sale of the Vehicle. I then Spoke to the ** of the dealership *******************. I explained the situation to **** and stated that this was auto fraud and that I would like a partial refund on the vehicle for the deprecation of the work that was done. I asked for 5k back.. **** stated he would buy the car back which i did not believe and i stated i was out 7600 in taxes and asked how that would be paid back. He said he would give the taxes back without any information on how. I stated i needed to gather my information and get back to him within the week. I contacted a body shop, my attorney and the ** DMV the dmv stated unless the car was bought back as a lemon i would not receive my taxes back. I spoke with my attorney who also stated that i had been a victim of dealership fraud which is a crime. I called ********************* March 29th, he was not available. I called ************************* March 30th and was told he would not do anything further to resolve the situation and i should have my attorney contact him. He then sent an email saying he would not buy back the car.
