I purchased my 2016 BMW 235xi on 01/09/2023. I did not receive the vehicle immediately as the dealership did not have the title at the time of purchase. I received my vehicle on 01/17/2023. On 01/30/2023 I brought my vehicle in for inspection as the vehicle was purchased in Massachusetts which I was told that the dealership was not able to do the inspection as I lived out of state. I received at that time an estimate from my mechanic that my vehicle needed over three thousand dollars worth of work. It was able to barely pass inspection as the leaking front struts and the left control arm bushing are leaking. I attached pictures and the estimate from my mechanic. I reached out to the dealership and the first conversation I had was with my salesperson that stated it was a used vehicle and I didn't have their warranty. I have spoken to the corporate office and the general manager. The general manager stated that I could purchase the parts out of my pocket and they would do the labor for free. I understand from their stand point that it's a used vehicle as they state continuously and I didn't purchase their 5,000  dollar 2 year warranty but a vehicle that I paid over 28,000 should not require repair work 13 days after I receive it. I mentioned to have them purchasing the vehicle back and was told that they would not purchase back at full retail price that I paid but at trade in value. I want the vehicle fixed as it should been before purchase or a full retail buy back.
