      We were given a group rate for a tournament we were attending. Have the receipt for $230.00 that would be owed at hotel. Checked, horrible service, front desk offered us a job because they didnt have housekeepers or maintenance, so they wouldnt be opening the pool OR doing the buffet breakfast that was included in our group rate.Multiple families noticed their bank was pending an additional $60 ($290, that should have been $230). We talked to the front desk multiple times and they assured us the manager was going to be there any minute and that the manager was aware of the issue and was going to fix it right away AND call us (as the last time we checked in was when we were checking out and still hadnt been contacted about the overcharge. Its been 5 days since we have stayed, still cant reach a manager, or get a call back. Cant reach anyone at corporate.

      it was on friday the 16 of feb that we booked a room with knights inn and this has got to be the worst place i ever stayed in , as soon as i walked into the room there was *********** of black mold or just mold it self then as soon as we set are bags down we had gangs of roaches in the bed on the floor it looked like an army of roaches , then next there was a hole in the ceiling above the toilet and it had a heavy streak of water pouring down on you right above toilet and every time you sat down on the toilet you got soaked , then there was no hot water for showers all night and even into next day it was terrible i would never send my worst enemy there it was a h*** hole and the place should be condemened , not to much all the homeless people stting out in front of our door all night long asking people for money and doing drugs right on the stairwellm it was the worst hotel did not get a wink of sleep and when i told the general manager about it all she could after i told her all this was offer me a free night in which i refused because i just wanted me money back for the room

      A room at this motel generally costs $50-$60/night if booked on their website (Knights Inn) or Orbitz. I did this and paid $51.74 on my recent trip to ******* on 2/17. One week later, I went there without a reservation and was charged $82.00, for the same room I had before. Basically, the motel adds an undisclosed surcharge if you register at the property, probably because they know that people would rather pay than look for another place to stay, especially if it is late and they are tired (like me).I relied on the "ballpark" rates shown on Orbitz, which is, inter ***** a way to advertise and tell people about the property and what the actual or approximate rates are, as well as other representations about the motel that *** attract customers. Adding up to $30 to the online price constitutes price-gouging, in my opinion. It's a classic "gotcha" scheme.

      On 2/2-3/24 myself and my wife stayed at the Knights Inn in ********* ** when a shooting took place late at night on the 3rd into the 4th. Police were called to the hotel and we were afraid for our life so we didn't exit the room till daylight when we felt it was safe to leave and didn't check out with the front desk when we left. We paid $160.00 cash for the two-night stay. My son filed a claim for us because we are up in age. The claim number is ********* we feel that the staff was involved due to the staff handing the room that the incident happened a cart full of towels with two men standing guard on each side of the door of the upper balcony across from our room 301. If you were in our shoes would you want to leave your room while a shooting is going on and you are afraid to be shot at? We also have photos to prove we were there and also when my son called the hotel the manager said nothing had happened at the hotel which is a lie.       This was the most disgusting room I've ever stayed in. Are they even registered with BBB???? I checked reviews after the fact and they've had this issue for YEARS. The bathroom smelled like pee the soap was stained and old. I've Never seen that in a hotel in my LIFE. I was bitten all night didnt see anything until the morning. They have bedbugs! The towels were BLACK and stained. They wont offer refunds. I slept in my car the night before and was wishing I had just slept there again last night.DISGUSTING BUSINESS

      There was a blizzard blowing into ****** which trapped many. This operator price gouged charging double. When asked tge operator stated the prices fluctuate at all times. Really? If you put tge address on your map in that area its evidenced from my bill he double charged and did NOTHING for guests- no coffee service in room or office, freezing raggedy bathroom, run down facilities. Angry operator, no time for customers in a blizzard- hes not the **** of ****** youre in need of shelter from. The room is advertised $77 *** at best on all pages all nights, hes just charging what he wants,consumer nightmare!

      Dec 2, 2023 I went to Knights Inn because of a problem where I currently live.The room was filthy, food under beds, bed bugs, dirt behind everything, bed sheets had stains. A condom on toilet really showed what goes on there I don't believe that the sheets had been changed.I spent 7 hours and left. I attempted to call front desk a little after 1am, no answer. I have Uber receipts that show I had left. I had trouble reaching this place,When I did I told them I had left. I asked for my receipt to be emailed, which they had never sent. I had to call again. I was told she only charged me $ ******. Wrong that is all she refunded me. I am trying to collect the difference and they refuse to do it. $111.00 is what they owe me. They are nasty and rude people, place should be shut down.

      I rented A room 224 at Americas, best value Inn and suites in **************** at 10:22 pm. I returned back to the office at 10:55 pm because they were cockroaches crawling across my bed in my table. I asked to be moved to a different building,they have 4 different buildings.. they refused. All they would do was accommodate me into a room next door room 226 . I did not want to sleep in that building. they would not give me my money back so I could stay at another hotel. They refused to give me my money back said its nonrefundable . The next morning after I slept in my car, I spoke to the manager, and she still refused to give me my money back. now they would accommodate me and put me in a different building the next day after I no longer needed the room but refused the night before, so I had to sleep in my car, cause I no money left ..

      On June 13 on our return trip to ****** from Calif., we stopped to overnight at the Red Lion. Despite the high price - $208.64CDN (full charge on CC), we paid for a room with 2 beds (about 11pm). Upon entering the first room provided - the room was stripped with sheets on the floor and ready for housekeeping, but not ready for guests- beds were NOT made and p*** was in the toilet. We went to the front desk and was given a second room, which was right across the hall. While the beds were partially made, there were blood stains on the exposed sheets, trash was in the can and the towels were not in the bathroom. We went to the desk and requested a refund after having 2 unfinished rooms offered to us. The lady explained that she wasn't authorized to issue a refund - it would have to be the manager in the morning. We let it run for a week without any refund. I called several times to reach a "non-existent" manager. I called the corporate headquarters who said it was an "independent" franchise and they couldn't do anything. I'd put this off for a while in frustration, but felt this had to be reported.

      Company advertises amenities they don't have ie pool, bathtubs, functioning wifi and bathrooms.Only allows a 5 minute window to cancel reservation and be refunded. Dirty linens, ***** and bedbug infestation ignored, black mold.Ignores all requests or lies about getting addressed. First payment 11/27/2023 Amenities promised free wifi/cable. **** intermittently works, cable is antenna. Free parking (valid)Private bathroom(nonfunctional and health and safety concerns) Ac/heat in each room(valid yet Dirty filters)When asked for anything told mgmt out of country - wait, lied to about being put next on a clean list or any maintenance Not resolved. When asked if I could move out of a different room, was told when one becomes available then watched one become available, cleaned, then rented to someone else. Reason owner said I couldn't be moved to a safer room was because he said so. I have an autistic child with a CHD that affects his oxygenated blood flow, and put in a room that was a closet catchall that was emptied but NEVER cleaned. Being told I could just be kicked out, and educated through court since I'm past the ********************************************************************************** to wait out the hours after releasing bomb.Folio ***************
