      Got approved for an $11,000 car loan through them, took about a week getting all the documents they needed the exact way they needed it, but thats not even the worst of it, after wasting about a week of my time trying to get this loan finalized, I get told that they cannot verify my income AFTER I HAVE SENT THEM BANK STATEMENTS, W2S AND PAYSTUBS, like, THE **** IS LITERALLY RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. They just waste your time and deny your claim if they deem you're someone who can't be taken advantage of it seems?? Crazy to me how they denied me for not being able to verify my income when I literally sent them all the documents needed TO verify my income XD

      Save your time and your credit score. Went in cause their rates seemingly kick a** They were also recommended by some friends who had done a loan through them for that reason. However, be prepared to do a stupid amount of paperwork, them constantly refuse to continue the loan until it's done to the exact way they like, (talking about penmanship being a reason to refuse) and when you breakdown to just go to a branch to become a member and get the corrections made cause it's literally easier that way. To get escorted out because "We cannot identify tour identity" with the same social card I've had since birth, and the same driver's license that I used to get approved for my refinance loan but somehow could not to become a member. When you ask why they will not talk to you. But happily ****** you out of the building. Spoke to loan officer explained what happened. He looked at my documents and said there is no problems that he could identify. And did an investigation. They finally got back to me 2 weeks later with the same vague ******** and then spun it off on me for not answering my phone when the loan officer called once, didn't leave a voicemail and I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. This company is quite literally ******** and act like they don't even want your business.

      They go by a different type of credit score then the one you personally get. And leave a hard inquiry on your credit. They need to train the staff better. If I could I give them zero stars.

      I recently discovered a potential member-wide loan application discrimination with ***. This could affect every single member in *** who applies for a vehicle loan or other type of loan. This potential discrimination begins with the use of ****' contracted credit scoring model, Equifax's "FICO Classic V5 Model."While applying for a refinance of an auto loan, the *** Equifax model gave a credit score of 693. This resulted in *** offering (a refinance loan) at an inflated interest rate of 7.5% instead of the current 5.99% loan we already have.We rejected that offer, went to three other banks, and applied three times. Each bank performed a hard credit pull, which yielded scores ranging from 736 to 742. Our final loan offer from another credit union is 5.65%, based on a score rating of 736. Forty-two points more than ***.I brought this to the attention of ***. The Equifax scoring model used by *** intentionally gives a lower score than that of score models used by three other banks, as well as a review of three different credit score models we reviewed, all of which are 736 or higher.*** says they are not doing anything wrong- the score is the score. That is not ******* seems clear that *** is intentionally using a score model that returns a lower score to loan applicants. For us, about 40 points less than what other banks use, resulting in higher interest rate car loans (or other loans?) to the applying members. This 'small' discrepancy meant a 1.5% interest increase in our refinance with ***. I asked *** to review their Equifax score model that is discriminating against every single *** member (1.2 million+) who applies for a car loan or other loans. Their answer was silence- no response, no indication that they would review or change the score model they use. Bottom line, loan applicants beware! *** is discriminating against its members for profit. You should consider going somewhere else for your banking and loan needs.

      After applying for a membership, getting accepted via email and a mailed letter also saying I was accepted, I applied for a used car loan ($9,000) only to be denied because they told me my membership was denied. This was a several week process, wasting my time and dinging my credit score. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional entity in my entire life. I would recommend staying away from this place to save yourself from a headache and wasted time.

      If I could give this location negative stars, I would. For years Ive been a member of ***. And today I was insulted by being told lies regarding notices of policies being changes around cashiers checks. Furthermore the manager ******* ****** is absolutely incompetent and lacks many skills that a manager should have. As a member informing management the situation, he did nothing. Absolutely trash customer service from top to bottom. I will certainly be making a complaint to the BBB and any other parties necessary. They who credit union should be embarrassed by the lack of leadership.

      We recently applied for an auto loan with ***, and the experience was beyond frustrating. When filling out the application, *** had already pre-filled some information incorrectlyspecifically, they used my wifes maiden name instead of her legal married name. Since their system did not allow us to correct it, we had to proceed as is.Despite running her credit using her correct social security number and approving the loan under her actual credit profile, *** refused to send the check to the dealer until we submitted additional documentation, including a marriage certificate, social security card, W-2, and W-4. In all our years of buying vehicles, we have NEVER been asked to provide such excessive paperwork after approval.This was not our mistakeit was ****. Yet, instead of simply correcting the error on their end, they wasted over six hours of our time and required more than 12 phone calls with no resolution. After all that, we were left with a hard inquiry on my wifes credit and no funded loan.We ultimately closed our account and went with a different lender that didnt put us through unnecessary hurdles for an already approved loan. As a business owner, my wife will never trust *** again, and we strongly advise others to stay away from this disorganized and incompetent institution.If you value your time, credit, and sanity, avoid DCU at all costs.

      *** is a very poor company to deal with the customer service ,supervisors and staff are very bad no communication at all I.I will never used this anymore .I opened up an account four I didnt not use my money went to the bank to redraw the told me the sent my money the state with out of any notice or call

      I have been a *** member since the early '90s. Lately I've been truly disgusted by them. Right now I put in a large deposit into my *** account to pay off a large loan that is not with ***. This is a large interest loan and each day I accumulate interest. The payoff needs to happen within one day from now and I have been waiting 3 days and trying to get this bill paid in ***. Keep s canceling the transaction, even though I have called them and told them that this is valid and the payee has been in their system for 4 years and I've been paying the monthly through ***. ***. Holding my money hostage! Now I may actually have to pay more on the payoff as it will not get there on time. I am truly truly disgusted that it is my own money and I have to jump through hoops to pay a bill. Whether it's large or not. It is my money and I personally have asked them to send it out. Yet. It has been 3 days and I'm still waiting

      *** is absolutely the worst. I don't even know how they're considered a bank. They break every law going charging. Double interest on accounts that have never ever been delinquent. They take interest out of a principal payment. When the account is paid ahead and then they refused to give the money back. So then I paid off the account. They got the money on Wednesday, but they charged me interest until Friday. I don't know how they stay in business without people suing them
