I submitted a preorder for a vehicle with this dealer (Kia **** on Oct 16, 2023. The amount paid was $750. As part of the advertisement for this vehicle it was explicitly stated in all advertisement for this vehicle the following: *Fully Refundable Reservation Payment: You have the right at any time prior to purchasing or leasing a new EV9, to cancel your reservation and to receive a full refund of the reservation payment from your selected Kia ********* The reservation payment is fully refundable if your reservation is cancelled, otherwise it will be applied toward the purchase or lease of the vehicle. The Reference Number of my prerorder reservation is: 5802881b-9172-4728-963f-dbc921e76701.I have been told the car will arrive to the dealer around Feb ****. I have decided to cancel my reservation and the dealer has said that they will NOT give me my prodder money back, citing that they keep the money. This is not what Kia *** claimed in its advertisement. I would like my money back form this dealer and I would like BBB to help me with this manner.

On 08/09/2021 I took my car to a shop and local to me to have all brake pads and rotors replaced at approximately ****** Miles. I paid $488.65 On 02/16/2022 I took my car into Pride Hyundai in **** for a check engine light that was on, some recalls that needed to be done and an oil change. I was told the check engine light was a gas cap $25.51 However because they had done a smoke test, I was charged $393.08 for this visit. Shortly after my 02/16/22 appointment I continued to have the check engine light come on for a few days and then turn off. I contacted Pride around October 2022 to schedule another visit and the earliest appointment they had was 06/13/2023. On 06/13/2022 my car was brought in for the check engine light, I believed I needed an alignment, informed them my car was shaking and losing power when coming to a stop, rattling from under the hood and an oil change. At the time of this visit I had $79,716 miles on the car. I also got 1 rear tire. I questioned the manager about a few things. 1. I was told I once again needed to have the smoke test completed $278.00, I questioned if that was necessary as I had just done the test and had no issue in Feb 2022. 2. I was told I do not need an alignment I need all new brake pads and rotors again. I questioned why that would be at just ****** miles after I had them done? New pads made sense to me, but new rotors so soon did not. I was told I was unintelligent, and the service manager would no longer speak to me until I was capable of having an intelligent conversation. I told them to complete the work. He told me at pickup that he did not charge me for the smoke test. This visit cost me $1,864.28. My receipt lists oil change, tire, pads and rotors. Nothing regarding the check engine light. Approximately $1,119.00 more than other shops and I don't believe they needed to be done. My car is now at another dealer and I'm told a piece of the engine was broken manually by a previous mechanic, will be ***** to fix.

My Fianc's car recently had her engine light come on, and the oil light came on but only when the breaks were pressed. We went to ********* in *******, they took it in inspected **, then told us they recommend we take this to a Hyundai dealer because they believed that we had a specific 2014 Hyundai sonata engine recall and that our engine was likely bad so Hyundai would do the necessary's testing to find out if their suspicions were true. So on Oct 2nd my Fianc *********************** scheduled an appointment with Hyundai Pride of ****. The closest appointment for service was on Nov 4th. We could not drive her car during this time, so we were sharing my car to both of our jobs for over a month. Once we brought the car in, they were pretty responsive for the first couple days, they did the diagnostic testing and updated the anti-theft software. They said the testing came back with a few things and they were going to try and replace them. They then decided to replace a couple sensors, then released the vehicle to us the next day. I paid 800$ to replace a couple sensors and get two other warranties replaced. After picking up my vehicle, i got about 10miles from Hyundai **** and the car started to overheat, there was a coolant leak that was more severe then the dealership said they knew, even after running testing and inspecting the vehicle and doing work in that area of the car. I spent 4 hours on the side of the road before getting it towed to our area of residence through AAA. After calling Pride Hyundai the next morning, they agreed to tow our car back to **** free of charge. After this, they said it was the oil pump. they charged us $1800~ to replace an oil pump. I picked it up again. It broke down again 5miles away from hyundai. I was able to drive it back to the dealership at low RPM. This was 11/20. Have not heard a word. Filed a formal complaint with hyundai, still no rental car and now they are replacing the warranty engine, but they will not refund us for the non-necessary work that they did even when they likely knew that the engine was bad from the start. (Even though an engine comes with a new oil pump). And we knew the problem from the start.

I am filing this complaint for my father. He purchased his auto from Pride Hyundai in **** , **. The car developed a leak in the engine. ****** said they could not repair the problem, stating that they did not know who was going to pay for the repair,.. the dealer or the Hyundai Co. The dealer had the car since Dec. 2022, to this day it is not correct after it has been repaired recently... still there. They have been giving him the run around about the car, cannot get a direct answer from the dealer. The car is still under warranty.

I've had so many issues with this dealership that I'm not sure where to begin. Have resolved some of these issues although was all very frustrating and time consuming.I'm still waiting on three things that I've been promised and listing below. Went up to the General Manager, ***************, who kept assuring me he was handling these for me. He now no longer returns my calls. 1. Cancellation of an extended warranty. This was submitted on 8/23. ** has told me this takes 4-6 weeks to process and credited to my loan application. Based on my overall experience with this dealership, I'm highly skeptical anything was ever done with this.2. They were going to send me documentation on what the original warranty covers. Still have not received anything.3. They were going to credit me $35 for an inspection fee that I had to pay for out of pocket but was also charged by the dealership. This car was purchased in July and I'm still trying to resolve issues with this purchase in November. I would appreciate any help or guidance you can offer.
