I signed up for an entry level CRM, which allowed up to ***** email contacts and we uploaded our customer list, which exceeded the ***** allowed in the membership program. I though that it would just tell me that I had to remove the excess contacts. But no, I immediately received a notice that my membership was being upgraded without my approval. I went into the software and opted out of the auto-renew, which I thought cancelled the upgrade.....nevertheless they've now charged me over $600 for a service that I won't use. **************** is not helpful and this is garbage. As an enterprise CRM software user and administrator in the past, my expectations were high and I was initially engaged by the perceived value of the product but HubSpot has really gone overboard in nickle and diming their customers. Its too bad, because its a good product, but putting such simple features behind increasingly more expensive pay walls is such bad business. I usually dont leave negative reviews, but I felt obliged to warn folks out there... if you are considering a CRM, run the other way!Review from Jim A

I am incredibly disappointed in their dishonest business practices and lack of decent customer service. I have been using ********************** for years. Recently, I signed up for a new account on behalf of a client. We discovered that we're overpaying for a tier of service we don't need, and we have attempted to downgrade. I requested their assistance, which is like pulling teeth (they appear to be outsourcing most, if not all, of their support). They will chase you when you're a prospect, but as soon as you're an actual customer, they don't want to hear from you. We are paying nearly $76.00 more monthly than we should be, and they won't fix it.Review from RD B

If I could give them zero stars I would. It is SO easy to sign up. But after that? It is so difficult to "talk" to anyone. They may return your email. I have had way too many frustrating encounters with this company. If I could cancel I would. The product is okay if you can USE it. My feeling is that there must be better companies out there that are better with communication. If you have a problem with a bill....email us. If you have a problem with the software....email us. I signed up with them but decided to go with another CRM Company and they haven't returned any emails about my money. I highly recommend to stay away from this company. I won't stop until I get my money back!!+ HORRIBLE COMPANY!Review from Cameron S

Good product, terrible sales process. I reached out asking how I can attach a document to a ticket. I was told I would need to upgrade my account and I would get a big discount as they were at the quarters end. Come to find out, no purchase was necessary rather was sold an account upgrade to help a sales rep hit his quota. It has now been over 2 months trying to have this upgrade canceled and they ignore all request.DO NOT USE their sales team to purchase, they will mislead.Review from James R

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Effectively useless and difficult to use software with your website while also providing terrible customer service. Company locks you into a long term contract with high fees. Agree with other negative reviews of the company.Review from Kirstie E

DO NOT DEAL WITH HUBSPOT **** They are a scam and took $2000 from me. They say it's a work from home deal and send you a check for you to buy equipment then you send money orders from that money to an out of state address then their check bounces!
