      No customer care. The overcharged me and I cannot reach anyone about billing. There is no number and their chat won't prompt a billing issue. I have sent emails and complaints and I have not received anything back. The forms block me from issuing complaint.

      Avid Technology, Inc. Is a terrible company. I accidentally signed up for a product with a renewal that has literally has been impossible to cancel. Avid and their partner Digital River charge me $43.43 every month for years now, which adds up to thousands of dollars now for a product I A. don't want and B. couldn't access if i wanted to. It is impossible to get into contact with a real human at Avid and I'm convinced this is purposeful. When I contact Digital River- the company that processes the monthly payments. They throw their hands up and play dumb and direct you to Avid. If I could give negative stars I would. I will continue to pursue remedy through every channel possible but I recommend that everyone stay away from any business with ****. They are a shady scam organization.

      I own a perpetual license. **** plays a dubious business practice with the software/*** to illegally make the customer buy it again.. Purposely they interrupt the *** activity in your PC to make you buy an update after it expired. They do not respect your privacy. As soon as you buy it the *** is again stable. I changed my wifi to my phone hotspot and the *** was fine, not too long thereafter the *** does not work and it resets itself to be again relicensed when I already had a cloud license. Next the *** is unstable and IO cannot use it. I recorded all details.

      **************** is only available virtually or by email none are any help. I originally paid 299usd for 1 year and had plans to renew until I saw the price was the same. I attempted to contact **** and eventually received two different responses, one saying they would provide a credit of 40% if purchased and the other saying sorry it will be 299usd again.. and something about hoping my family is well?. The emails were sent from separate customer service reps so, what going on? Who do I trust? I am sick of Avid and their disregard for customers so I am leaving.

      Their sales portal seems to be intentionally broken. I got random 404 errors, and when I was finally able to try to purchase the software, their return scrambled much of my information, including my email address, which they sent the verification to. So they took my money, screwed up the input, sent the verification to a non-existant email address, and there is no way to contact them since they don't have an active phone number and their support site consistently says it can't process your issue at this time, try again later.
