    BBB shared the findings and recommendations with Airslate, Inc.

    Unauthorized charges: The vast majority of complaints involve customers being charged by AirSlate without their knowledge or consent, often through their linked Venmo accounts. Charges range from $20 to $180, with $96 being the most common amount.

    Lack of familiarity with the company: Most complainants state they have never heard of AirSlate before and have no idea why they were charged, suggesting they did not knowingly sign up for any services.

    Difficulty obtaining refunds: Customers express frustration with AirSlate's lack of responsiveness and inability to easily obtain refunds for unauthorized charges. Some report difficulty canceling unwanted subscriptions.

    Possible connection to PDFfiller: Some complaints mention PDFfiller, suggesting it may be a subsidiary service of AirSlate. Several customers report signing up for free PDFfiller trials and then being unexpectedly charged by AirSlate.

    Potential data security issues: A few complaints raise concerns about how AirSlate obtained customers' personal and financial information in order to process unauthorized charges.

    On 7/1/24 Airslate,Inc responded to BBB with:

    99% of the complaints are, sadly, related to the fact that [some] people do not understand how free trial period works as such. On our end, we did everything possible to prevent this misunderstanding: there is explicit information provided upon account registration and there is also an email sent which contains info on the free trial deadline and other important details.

      My Venmo account was charged $102.98 for a subscription I am not familiar with. I would like a refund. I have no clue who or what this business is or what I would have paid for

      AirSlate **** keeps trying to charge my Venmo account $103.20 and it keeps getting declined, thankfully. But, STOP trying to charge me, I have never signed up for anything for this company and I am not being scammed out of money from you. THANK YOU, NEXT <3

      On nov 27, AirSlate somehow charged my Venmo acct 96$ I never provided them any information to my ***** account and did not authorize them to take funds from that account. I want those funds refunded to my ***** account.

      I was charged for a free trial despite not providing credit card information. My Venmo is @kingmanazir. I was charged on 11/30/25.

      The venmo chargeback was not fulfilled as my dispute request was denied. I have provided the proof above.

      I subscribed to this website at 12$/mo, then was charged $180.00. The website was completely useless so I cancelled it within 15 minutes! Then they refused to refund my money! I should have at least 3 days to reconsider and these people didnt even give me an hour! These lawyers are crooks!

      We can only confirm that our Support was in direct communication with you on the same day you were charged, two days ago, November 18th.

      Our Support has issued a full refund, $180.00, the email confirmation has been sent, and the ticket has been closed.

      I was charged $96 on 11/16/24 for absolutely no reason. I do not know how they got access to my varo account and were authorized to make a purchase because I have never purchased anything from them. I want a refund as soon as possible.

      On October 17th you've signed up for a free trial on our site www.pdffiller.com (online PDF editor). Since the free trial period lasts for 30 days and it was never canceled, one month later the system made an attempt to charge you. However, this transaction failed (it is shown as "declined" on our end). Thus, there was no actual charge, but rather a charge attempt only.

      Our Billing Support just went ahead and canceled your subscription. Therefore, we can confirm that there won't be any further charge attempts. We've also sent an email confirmation re the same to your inbox.

      We hope this settles the case!
