    BBB with the use of artificial intelligence, analyzed the complaints on 4/22/24

    BBB shared the findings and recommendations with Airslate, Inc.

    The findings appeared to show:

    Unauthorized charges: The vast majority of complaints involve customers being charged by AirSlate without their knowledge or consent, often through their linked Venmo accounts. Charges range from $20 to $180, with $96 being the most common amount.

    Lack of familiarity with the company: Most complainants state they have never heard of AirSlate before and have no idea why they were charged, suggesting they did not knowingly sign up for any services.

    Difficulty obtaining refunds: Customers express frustration with AirSlate's lack of responsiveness and inability to easily obtain refunds for unauthorized charges. Some report difficulty canceling unwanted subscriptions.

    Possible connection to PDFfiller: Some complaints mention PDFfiller, suggesting it may be a subsidiary service of AirSlate. Several customers report signing up for free PDFfiller trials and then being unexpectedly charged by AirSlate.

    Potential data security issues: A few complaints raise concerns about how AirSlate obtained customers' personal and financial information in order to process unauthorized charges.

    On 7/1/24 Airslate,Inc responded to BBB with:

    99% of the complaints are, sadly, related to the fact that [some] people do not understand how free trial period works as such. On our end, we did everything possible to prevent this misunderstanding: there is explicit information provided upon account registration and there is also an email sent which contains info on the free trial deadline and other important details.

We never object or persuade people to stay.Once any customer (current or former) requests information on how we store and share data, we put them in contact with our Legal department and they provide detailed information on this.       Randomly charged $96 without my knowledge or consent. No idea what this business is or sells but i did not interact with it.

      I was charged $96 on Venmo & have never heard of this company, let alone purchased anything from it. I need a *********** Venmo information removed from wherever they got it.

      Airslate charged me $144 and I don't even know this company. I want my money refunded.

      On March 30, 2024 there was unauthorized transaction of $144.00 as well as on April 6, 2024 of $144.00.

      You indeed have a (still) active subscription with **. Hence, the system is trying to charge you. However, our records show that both charge attempts have been declined on your end (you were not charged).

      To make this stop:

      1) you can either login in pdfFiller and cancel the subscription yourself,

      2) if you don't remember your login credentials, please email *********************************** One of our agents will verify you and then cancel the subscription manually.

      Aisrslate.com charged me $40 on Venmo. I do not know why or what for

      Since the subscription is already canceled, we are processing the refund now. Our Billing agent will email you to verify couple minor details for speeding up the refund.

      I have received numerous unauthorized attempts to extract funds from my Googlepay account. I have no idea who/ what this company is or about.

      I have been charged $96.00 on my Venmo account on 04/07/2024 to this company and it was unauthorized and I never purchased anything from them and I would like a refund immediately.

      Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

      My email is ********************** and my Venmo username is Motoracer233. I would greatly appreciate a refund as I did not authorize that transaction at all.

      I have got 2 charges to my bank account from a ******* Air Slate" that I have no idea what it is. I would like my money back and for them not to charge me any longer. Please help.

      I was charged $102 on my Venmo account from ********************** two hours ago. I did not make this transaction. I have never heard of this company. This is fraudulent charge.

      I have received many attempted charges from Airslate on my Venmo account for $144. Fortunately I dont have that amount sitting in my account so it has been declined all times it has attempted but I need it to be disputed before I do have the funds in my Venmo account for it
