    I am writing on behalf of ****************** to file a formal complaint against Teikametrics for an unjustified charge following the timely cancellation of our subscription.****************** contracted Teikametrics to manage our Amazon Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, with a monthly renewal on the 8th of each month. On October 7th, 2024, we canceled our subscription using their online cancellation option, one day prior to the renewal date, which was clearly before their stated cutoff time of October 8th.Despite canceling within the appropriate timeframe, Teikametrics still charged our card $99 on the renewal date. When we contacted their support team, they claimed the charge occurred because their internal system did not process the cancellation in time. However, we believe this reasoning is invalid, as their internal processing delays should not impact a customer who has properly followed the companys cancellation procedures.This action represents a breach of our contractual agreement, as we were no longer obligated to the service after the timely cancellation. We have requested a refund from Teikametrics, but they have not resolved the issue.We are seeking the BBBs assistance in ensuring that Teikametrics refunds the $99 charge and prevents any further unauthorized billing. We also request that the BBB review this matter to ensure Teikametrics is handling cancellations in a fair and transparent manner for all customers.

    Company is committing billing fraud. They are billing more than the agreed upon amount and when brought to customer service's attention they are ignoring messages and avoid issuing a refund when it clearly states the billing contract and incorrect invoiced amount in the account.

    I signed up with this company's service, specifically the "AI-Powered" subscription.After realizing the subscription was not for me, I downgraded my account to the free plan because I couldn't find a way to cancel the account outright. Even though I downgraded my account multiple times, it still shows my plan as the $99 "AI-Powered" subscription, and they keep trying to charge me. To be clear, I attempted to "downgrade" before and again after the billing period.Note: I used a temporary credit card and locked it. They haven't charged me anything they shouldn't have, and they don't owe me any money.After the new billing period started on 07/02/24, they kept emailing me "Invoice is Past Due" notices. On 07/19/24, I downgraded my account *again* through their website.I also contacted customer service and told them:---I already downgraded my account (maybe twice) and now again.If you continue to *TRY* to bill me, I will report you to the BBB and any other place I can find to report you.The credit card you have on file is intentionally locked because I no longer want to be your customer.Please cancel my account.******** ---Their response on 07/19/24:---Apologies for any confusion this has caused. Adding @Teikametrics Billing to look into this and assist further.---Nevertheless, they continue to send me "Invoice is Past Due" notices saying I owe them $99 (I received another one today, 7/24/24), and as of today, their website continues to show that I am on their "AI-Powered" plan. The site also says a new billing period starts on 8/09, so I'm unsure if the $99 charge will increase.As I said, my card is locked so they can't actually charge me, but I don't want this to be a debt that might affect my credit. Plus, they clearly practice dubious business practices that could affect others. They offer an "Initiate Downgrade" button on their website that makes it appear as if a customer has downgraded their account, only to find they haven't.
