1 starDO NOT WORK FOR THIS PLACE THEY WONT PAY YOU!Survey.com

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how important it is for independent contractors to feel their time and efforts are valued, and we take every concern seriously.
In this case, the required documentation for the visit was not completed as outlined in the project instructions. We made multiple attempts to work with this contractor to allow them to provide the missing information and resubmit, but the requested details were not provided.
While we always aim to support contractors, we also have a responsibility to our clients who rely on accurate reporting and proof of service for payment. Because this required documentation was missing, the work could not be approved as submitted.
That said, were committed to resolving matters in good faith and have taken steps internally to ensure continued clarity around project requirements.

1 starThis company frequently violates the terms of an independent contractor agreement, does not pay as agreed, and does not have good customer ************ pays less than minimum wage and requires extensive travel. There is no training, and good representatives will find it difficult to work with many stores because there have been so many problems with bad representatives.Survey.com

Were sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you raising these concerns. Our marketplace is offer-based for independent contractors: each assignment shows pay, scope, travel expectations, and timing up front, and contractors choose which offers to accept, no contractor is every obligated to take on work that doesn't meet their needs.
Payments are issued according to the terms of each accepted offer and the documented outcomes of the visit(s).
We reviewed the offers on this account and provided detailed explanations of rates, bonuses, and outcomes. If any specific assignment still appears incorrect, were happy to review it line-by-line and correct anything thats off.
On training and support: while we cant require training for independent contractors, we provide step-by-step guides, photos, videos, and in-app help to set contractors up for success, and were continually expanding these resources. Store conditions can vary, and when issues arise we work with both contractors and retailers to resolve them quickly.
We value this feedback and are committed to clearer guidance and faster answers. If youd like us to re-send the breakdown for a particular offer or bonus, please reach us through the in-app help chat so we can assist directly.

Assignments are frequently unclear and when concerns are raised about clarity the response is generic and requires insistence on speaking to a supervisor. "Hourly" jobs do not specify a minimum payment rate if the visit takes less than an hour. Android users can not see the details of an assignment until it has been accepted, then if the assignment is cancelled the representative rating is lowered. While I was able to resolve several discrepancies in the past, the discrepancies became increasingly more frequent and expectations became increasingly more complex despite the law that independent contractors must be paid for the completed end result only and not the task process. Instead of making any effort to resolve these increasing issues they chose to terminate my account.Survey.com

We appreciate the additional comments.
Assignment details, including pay type and completion window, are displayed before acceptance, and flat-rate visits are not hourly by design. If any *** experiences a display or app issue, we ask that they record and ***ort it so we can investigate and correct it.
Ratings are tied to completion within the agreed timeframe, not cancellations by the company. Participation on our platform is voluntary, and we aim to support ***s with clear offers, timely payment, and the flexibility to choose work that fits their schedule.
If a user is consistently unsatisfied with the platform and their feedback shifts toward creating a negative outlook, it signals the platform may not be the right fit. Our expectation is that merchandisers uphold the best interests of the platform, our clients, and the business. Participation is always voluntary, and we respect when someone chooses not to continue. We remain focused on improving clarity and outcomes for both our ***s and clients.W. B.

I continuously provided feedback, including feedback regarding assignment details not being available until after acceptance. I did not become "negative" about the company until the last few months where the interest clearly shifted away from retention of quality field representatives. I filled out every periodic survey about the usability if the app with clear communication for improvement, always reenforcing that my interest was in the success of the company. The issues I addressed above remain unresolved and I feel it is important that any client or field representatives, current or prospective, are aware of Survey's repeated unprofessionalism as described above.Review fromTonya D

1 starI took a job with this company because having a flexible schedule and taking jobs I could do would have been ideal. They dont train you they send you in blindly to what youll be doing. They offer 25 an hour and small bonuses here and there. They had another girl and I taking inventory and stocking in a Dollar ********** was supposed to be a 40 hour week but we got it done in 24. We were expected to take pictures everyday of stuff that we had done from each end of the aisle. Take pictures of stuff in the back room. Except its the holiday season in the stores so they had a crazy amount of stock in the back for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas so I took pictures but the manager of that store did not want us putting those things out. We did the core inventory he wanted. He signed our papers daily to show we had been there, put in the work, and what he wanted us to do and not do.Needless to say my camera on Tuesday acted up because I was out in the middle of nowhere and somehow mysteriously the pictures I sent them didnt go through except they didnt say anything about that till Thursday when I sent my final days work in??? They had me go back and take the pictures again on Friday from a link they sent me. I copied all of those pictures to my phone camera so I had proof I took them. Well when I downloaded them again theyre saying they didnt get them and I downloaded them again to a text they sent me to send them to and theyre saying they didnt get them again. Mind you Wednesday and Thursday downloaded just fine but they wont even pay me for those days. Im out 26 hours of my time there and 700 they were supposed to pay me. Every time I sent those downloads it said congrats sent successfully except theyre saying it didnt. This place needs shut down theyre ripping countless people off by making them sign contractor agreements then blaming them for their faulty APP. As a military wife with a family to take care of this is disgusting behavior.Survey.com

Were very sorry to hear about this experience and the frustration its caused. From what we can see, you did attempt to upload the photos, and its clear you were on-site. It looks like there was a technical issue preventing the images from attaching properly to your visit.
In situations like this, we should have asked you to send the photos to our support email so we could make sure they were received and added to your visit manually. We want to make this right, please email your photos and details to ******************* and our team will review and help resolve this for you.
Thank you for the work you completed, and for taking the time to share your feedback so we can improve.Review fromMichael B

1 starThis company will scam you into doing the work they are paid for and you will not get paid. At first it was a good side thing to do until the company got into a bind when completing a series of projects dealing with dollar generals. I completed more than two dozen of these projects in a week just before they could no longer be done. I got paid for 2 out of 28 jobs I did for them... all over tiny nitpicking things. The app they use is designed to make you fail at comlleting the work correctly (aka their standards). These people do not even understand that POG is an acronym for Plan-o-gram... they will lie to you to get you to do the work, try to guilt trip you into it, then tell you they are not going to pay you for it. S**** them.Review fromMelissa C

1 starThe work seems simple enough in writing then once you get into the store it's totally different, An assignment listed at 20 minutes ends up being an hour. "Secret Shops" to be done with discretion requiring you to take 100s of pictures in a store the size of a master bedroom closet, how can you be discreet? Having assignments invalidated and receive no payment because the staff asked you to leave and threatened to have the police trespass you in the store! Their own guideline indicates that if you are asked to leave without completing the assignment there is a $10 pay. Because I didn't have a photo from in the store (which the app platform wouldn't even allow me to upload If I had one because it bypasses that when you click "asked to leave") I was not paid; I'm not going to risk a trespass charge so that I can snap an inside photo that I didn't even know I had to have. I even contacted the online support from the parking lot and followed the exact directions they gave me. Removed my acceptance of other assignments; have to seriously reconsider continuing on with them.Survey.com

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that your visit resulted in being asked to leave the store—while rare, situations like this can happen during Secret Shopper assignments.
These visits are meant to be completed discreetly, without identifying yourself as anything other than a regular shopper. In most cases, reps are able to begin the assignment and capture several photos before any questions arise. Our platform does require that visits show some sign of initiation, such as initial photo attempts, to be eligible for approval.
We understand your frustration and truly appreciate your feedback. Our goal is to provide fair opportunities while maintaining the standards that protect both reps and clients. We're continuously reviewing feedback like yours to improve our support and communication around these more sensitive visit types.Review fromAshley C

1 starDo not sign up for any Elevate cooler resets! You will not get paid correctly. The ******** of this company to scam hard working mothers with ill children is beyond me! I truly enjoyed working this app until I took the reset assignment. ****** will call and text you relentlessly and then they will deny your payment. I went to the assignment and NONE of the days I worked was I compensated correctly. Their excuse is that I didnt turn in the last days work on that date. I dont know what that has to do with my incorrect payments from every other day! All in all the reset projects are a scam and this shouldnt be allowed! This app was life saving for me and my children then the reset team called and it was over. I cant afford to work for free and now my kids have to suffer because the Dollar General reset team pockets the funds. Look at the complaint history. It would be different if it was just one complaint but thats not the case. No worry! Just waiting for the class action. ????Survey.com

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating payment concerns can be and want to emphasize that we take these matters very seriously.
In receiving your escalation through our internal communication channels, our team began actively reviewing the issue in coordination with both the user and our management team. Weve worked to address and resolve the situation, and we appreciate your patience throughout that process.
In order for surveys to be processed without issues and payments to be issued correctly, contractors must have location services turned on at all times and ensure surveys are both started and completed while physically onsite. If there are issues with Wi-Fi connectivity or signal strength, these should be noted within the survey so our team can fully understand what occurred. This context is vital in verifying and approving work.
As independent contractors, users are responsible for ensuring they have a fully functional phone that can support app requirements. If a device is not working properly, work should not be completed until the issue is resolved to ensure that all required data can be collected.
Again, weve thoroughly reviewed this matter and have taken steps to resolve it in direct communication with the user. We are committed to improving the experience for everyone on the platform and are continuously refining our processes to support independent contractors while maintaining accurate records and standards required by our partners.
If you believe anything is still unresolved, we welcome you to reach back out through the original support channels so we can further assist.Review fromkindra c

1 starI was called and begged to work an early morning chip reset at ******. Reluctantly, I agreed thinking they needed help and knowing the holiday season was near. I arrived at 3:45, located the reset team leader in the chip aisle and worked for 4+hours with them resetting the whole aisle, including replacing shelving, restocking and boxing surplus product. Survey is now denying the pay. I assume the l they're not paying the team leader either.Survey.com

Hello.
Thank you for your feedback. After reviewing the details, we found that the requested logbook and tablet photo were not submitted, and the photos provided were for a different section than what was asked. The logbooks are necessary as the time specified largely exceeds the time tracked onsite.
We understand your concerns and, as a gesture of goodwill, we will review the situation and reach out to support the time spent onsite. We appreciate your understanding and are happy to discuss this further through our email ****************************Thank you.

1 starThis corporation is build off the backs of people they hate look at the long list of grievances and they are still allowed to operate, I've been discriminated against by this companies employees and their partners openforce they split into three companies to hide from the fact they they are unprofessional and unethical as well as messy. They are all having affairs with each other except for the older top management, I turned down one of them and became the weirdo of the bunch after since they like to talk in corners about people. My second day there a supervisor for the construction side was trying to flirt with a girl who obviously wasn't interested and I walked by her and caught her attention even though I didn't say a thing and he became jealous and used that as a reason to try and use online information he doesn't even know about in a effort to tarnish my reputation and livelihood in the town as they later that day talked to managers of ******* and dollar tree in a attempt to make me look bad as they heard I was trying to get a job to replace them as I figured they were messy and had no real control. Their other corporations are *****, **** and merchandiser by survey. The ones having affairs and smoking on the clock are ****** ****** and a supervisor with a white hoodie.Survey.com

1 starSurvey.com is the biggest scam. I worked two assignments for them and never got paid. They blamed it on the payment company they use called Openforce. I was smart enough not to work any more assignments until I got paid to be sure this company was legit. Needless to say, I didnt work anymore assignments for them since months later, still no pay. Did not get sucked into the scam.!Survey.com
