Hello,I've been getting threatening letters from **** Hancock saying I owe them money because my father died on Feb. 25th and I owe them for the rest of month. However, **** Hancock has not paid us for the month of January and they owe me! These threat letters are not taken lightly. I have tried calling and they shut down my online account. I have all the documentation. Please prepare yourself for litigation if I am not reimbursed for January.

This company has brought shame to the entire insurance industry. My aunt and uncle faithfully paid for long-term care insurance over many years, believing it would support them when they needed it most. Now that both are in a care facility, the company seems to be doing everything in its power to avoid paying outstalling, losing paperwork, giving conflicting instructions, and creating unnecessary ********* feels as if they are hoping my relatives will pass away before any benefits are paid. This is not just unethicalit is cruel. The elderly, who planned responsibly and trusted this company, are being exploited in their most vulnerable years. We are filing a formal complaint with the state insurance commissioner, and we believe that those in upper management who oversee and perpetuate these practices should be held accountablelegally and morally. Elder abuse through corporate delay and denial is unacceptable.

If i could leave no stars i would gladly. I'm so happy that i canceled my policy work them a while ago, but my mother still has hers. My mom named myself and my daughter as beneficiaries. They could not verify my daughter when I started the claim but verified my right away. My daughter had to go through a process to get verified. I was good to go. My daughter received her half of the funds within 3 weeks. It is now going on 2 months and i am still waiting for my portion. They ****.

I have been fighting with them since June 18th, spent 4.5 hours on the phone with them yesterday to get the money transferred into an *** i have with my bank. The day before spent over 10 hours with my ex-employer trying to figure out where she needed to mark approve. They stated they sent her an email but never did so LIE number 1. Then when that was finally figured out they stated that I put in a change for an *** with **** Hancock, when clear shows my bank information. LIE number 2 i explained to them i was on the phone with one of there employees filling that out and she took me step by step knowing I did not want to use them. Told them they had to fix it because it was not my problem it was there's. Told them not to cancel anything, LIE number 3 told they were not and here I am this morning on the phone with them because they cancelled it and now waiting for approval from my former employer again. LIE number 4 was told it would be in my bank Friday, how when it has been cancelled. I have been with them for 3.5 yrs only received one statement form them , they never let you know what is going on with YOUR money. Will not admit to there mistakes but have the customer jump through hopes.

Went to pull my retirement money out of my account. I was told I was unable to because I never responded to their statements in the mail. It flagged my account. I was told that I had to wait 48 hours before they could even try to allow me to take my money out that I worked for. Then the lady on the phone had the nerve to ask why I needed my money. It is none of their business why I want to pull my money. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do business with them.

They are a scammer company who does no have any authority or control over your money. If you end on bad terms with your employer or just want you money in general you will never see a dime 6 months later they will tell you they never received the form and the money is gone. If you invest with them you will never see a dime.

Terrible customer service. I did not receive my bill in the mail so i called. The automated system transferred me to the ************************* and it kept disconnecting me. Then I called the retirement department and they transferred me to the same unavailable extension. Finally I got through and they said they would email me the invoice and i asked them to stay on the line with me until i received the email. They hung up and 2 hours later, i still haven't received the email.

These people should be put out of business by the government. This way they treat customers is criminal, been almost a year now trying to claim on an estate, they must have a training manual written by the CEO of Great Benefit (the rainmaker)

My experience reflects the countless reviews below. I haven't had access to money my employer choose to put in this account without my consent. I left the employer who created this account a year ago under very aggressive and contentious circumstances and will not contact or engage with them again. They are incompetent on top of that, so I can't rely on them act professionally or manage anything properly. I received a notice from **** Hancock that I had less than ************************************************************************************************** my account would roll over to an *** and I would pay a fee for that to occur. I opted to roll it over to my new employer's program. New employer needs paperwork from me sent with a check - no wiring available. That means the check needs to be sent to me first. My former employer has the wrong address on file for as I moved. According to **, I need to have my former employer update my address. A ** *** helped me find a work around to get the check sent directly to me. Well the ** system dropped the numbers from my address so the check will probably be lost in the mail. They now won't resend the check a corrected address without my previous employers permission. So it would have been better to pay the fee to have ** roll over my money into their account so I could finally access my money without an abusive employer involved. I am beyond furious - I should be able to access my money, update my home address on my own with my employer. How do I not have access to my money? How is this legal? **************** did everything to refuse this situation getting escalated to a supervisor. Just cancel the check and let me resubmit the request. WHY is this so horrible? Perhaps it is to keep my money in **'s accounts so they can charge me management fees.
