I live in ******* and my daughter goes to college in ******. When I try to pay her room&board and tuition, FlyWire won't let me pay with credit card in pounds with my **-based credit card. This makes no sense because I can buy anything else in ****** (from the **) in pounds anytime I want. My credit card fully supports payment in pounds. So why does FlyWire make me pay in dollars and pay their absurd currency conversion rate?

Please note, the payment methods made available depend on the country you are paying from and the institution you are making a payment to. As an international payment processor, Flywire is partnered with various card processors which generally the currency to pay is designated to be in payer's local currency. As such, we don't recommend you pay in GBP with US bank issued credit card as additional fees may incured such as ********************** Fees" and a conversion process performed by your bank or credit card provider.

Very difficult to contact a person regarding education payments issue. Payment not gone through for seven business working days :( It is not a small amount, and surprised by the response of the sales support.Standard response - only via e-mail. E-mail is human is what the customer service rep ***** said ***************** left two voice messages - no one returns the calls.Disappointed with customer serviceFlywire Response

Please note that it typically takes 2-3 business days for the funds to arrive in Flywire's bank account from your bank, and another 2-3 business days for the funds to be delivered to your institution. Flywire will always update you immediately once the funds are received for your payment and once the payment is delivered to your institution.As of now, as you mentioned Sales support, it looks like you may have not contacted our actual payer support team. Unfortunately we have been unable to find a payment in our system if we filter only with your name ***********************. We kindly ask that you contact us through one of our support channels to provide us with your payment ID; the payment ID is a combination of 3 letters and 9 digits. You always receive this unique code in your email every time you make a payment request on our site. Once we have this ID, we will be able to further assist you.
