    I made a purchase at Target thru the BeFrugal website on 11/20/22 for *****. On 1/20/23 I noticed that BeFrugal reduced the purchase price from ***** to *****. This reduced my cashback bonus from 50 cents to 25 cents. I filed a complaint with Befrugal on or about 1/20/23 and provided the order confirmation which corrabarated the purchase price of *****. BeFrugal's response was to put the 25 cents into my account in a pending status and to blame Target. On 4/7/23 I contacted Befrugal to inquire why the 25 cents is still pending. BeFrugal blamed Target. As of today, 5/17/23 the 25 cents is still pending.I made a purchase at Gamestop thru the Befrugal website on 11/21/23 for *****. On 1/19/23 I noticed that BeFrugal incorrectly applied the wrong cash back percentage to the purchase price of ***** effectivly reducing my cash back bonus from **** to 90 cents. Be Frugal applied the cash back bonus at 4.5% instaed of 5.6%. I filed a complaint with Befrugal on or about 1/19/23 and provided the order confirmation from Gamestop. BeFrugal's response was to put the 22 cents into my account in a pending status and blame Gamestop. On 4/7/23 I contacted Befrugal to inquire why the 22 cents is still pending. Befrugal blamed Gamestop. As of today, 5/17/23, the 22 cents is still pending.

    In general, we advise that inquiries can take around ***** days to resolve. This is just a guideline, however. Some stores may respond quicker while others may take additional time.

    The issue in question is whether or not I spent ***** at Target or ***** at Target.I have provided you with the order confirmation from Target unquestionably proving that I spent *****. After 4 months, 1 month longer than your policy guidelines, what are you waiting for Target to respond to? 
    You have not responded thru the BBB to my complaint concerning Gamestop. You sent me an email yesterday with your response which I rejected and found unacceptable. Please forward your Gamestop response to the BBB so that I may respond to it through official channels.

    As noted in previous reply BeFrugal submitted an inquiry with the retailer, Target, on January 23, 2023.  Inquiries can take around ***** days to resolve, however some stores may respond quicker while others may take additional time.  As soon as we hear back from Target, we will notify the user through their ********************** account.  The $0.25 was posted to the users BeFrugal account while the retailer reviews the inquiry.


    BeFrugal submitted an inquiry for the user regarding the Game Stop. The response provided to us from the retailer was that the investigation was denied.  As a result of the investigation being denied, no cash back was earned on the sale. Cash Back is based on commissions BeFrugal receives from the store. If BeFrugal does not receive commissions for orders placed directly with the store, we do no pay out cash back. These terms are explained on our FAQ page ************************************************** and in our terms and conditions section ************************************************************;


    The determination of whether or not the order qualified was in no way decided by BeFrugal.

    As Game Stop had already declined this inquiry,it is not be possible to receive cash back. The store is not paying any commission for this.

    Conveniently,BeFrugal did not respond to my question with regard to Target. Target does not know BeFrugal's policy or guidelines detailing what parameters are necessary to deem a purchase transaction at Target viable to receive cash back from BeFrugal,nor do they care. Target can only confirm that a purchase transaction did indeed occur.BeFrugal has the Target order confirmation proving a purchase transaction occurred. BeFrugal has paid me 25 cents cash back on this purchase proving that it was a viable transaction according to their policies and guidelines,but I should have received 50 cents. I am owed 25 cents.I will ask the question again. After 4 months,what are you waiting for Target to respond to??
    The same holds true for Gamestop.Gamestop does not know BeFrugal's policy or guidelines detailing what parameters are necessary to deem a purchase transaction at Gamestop viable to receive cash back from BeFrugal,nor do they care.Gamestop can only confirm that a purchase transaction did indeed occur.BeFrugal has the Gamestop order confirmation proving a purchase transaction  occurred. But this isn't the issue in this case. It absolutely was a viable purchase transaction because BeFrugal paid me 90 cents cash back on this purchase,thereby proving it was a legitimate purchase. However,I am still owed 22 cents. In this situation, there is nothing for Gamestop to approve or deny. The transaction has already been approved by Befrugal.
    BeFrugal states"the response provided to us from the retailer was that the investigation was denied" This is false because as stated above BeFrugal has already approved this purchase.
    BeFrugal states"no cash back was earned on this sale" This statement is false.I earned 90 cents cash back on this purchase. If BeFrugal meant to state no commission was earned on this sale that is also false because I would not have earned 90 cents cash back if BeFrugal did not earn a commission.
    BeFrugal states"the determination on whether or not the order qualified was in no way decided by BeFrugal' This is false. As I stated above,Gamestop does not know what qualifies as a viable transaction under BeFrugal's parameters.
    BeFrugal proved this was a legitimate purchase and that they received a commission for this purchase by awarding me 90 cents cash back for this purchase.Gamestop did not deny anything.
    BeFrugal states"as Gamestop had already declined this inquiry,it is not possible to receive cash back.The store is not paying any commission for this" This is false.I received 90 cents cash back because BeFrugal received a commission.
    I would ask BeFrugal to provide the BBB,through their response to me, the correspondence/response they received from Gamestop detailing Gamestop's denial of the investigation/inquiry.

    I received my reward for ******, I activated the card and when I go back to the link to card it tells me it has expired. It said I have 7 months to use it, it was issued in December. It has not been 7 months.

    I've attempted to use BeFrugal's Cash Back website for two large purchases. In both cases, despite providing all requested evidence that the purchases have been made as directed according to the guidelines of the site and retailers, the Cash Back that was marketed and promised has been denied with zero explanation of why. My support request tickets asking for more information and offering to provide any additional evidence needed have been responded to with generic "This was denied" language that doesn't actually give any reason for the denial. Having now had this happen on two large purchases, which are my only two attempts to use BeFrugal's services, I suspect it may be a scam intended to generate Cash Back for BeFrugal that they then decline to pass along to the users who generated it for them. I don't expect at this point that anything is likely to change for me personally, but if this is a scam that's being used against other people, I would like for them to be held accountable for it. My two purchases were:- $1,380 from Discount Tire on 2/12/23 (which should have resulted in $88.80 from BeFrugal's cash back)- $1,075.71 from ************** on 2/4/23 (which should have resulted in $59.79 from BeFrugal's cash back)Thank you.

    BeFrugal submitted an inquiry with ************* for a Feb, 4, 2023 order #Q58003S8, in the amount of $1,075.71, in question. The investigation was denied by the retailer on Feb 22, 2023.   The retailer stated that the order #Q58003S8 was not located in their affiliate referred orders.

    BeFrugal submitted an inquiry with Discount Tire for a Dec, 12,2023 order ##**********, in the amount of $1,380, in question.  As of today, the investigation is still pending with the retailer.  BeFrugal has credited cash back in the amount of $88.80 to the users account while the cash back is being investigated. 

    Once we have additional information on the Discount Tire inquiry,we will notify the user and update their account accordingly.

    I have provided proof to BeFrugal that directly contradicts the information they say they received from **************.They say they are not willing to pursue the matter with **************. The Cash Back offer they promote that I followed the terms of is between me and BeFrugal. I followed their terms and they are refusing to pay by blaming it on the merchant, but thats a problem for them to resolve with the merchant if the merchant isnt holding their end of the deal up with BeFrugal. It doesnt give BeFrugal the right to ignore their obligation to me.

    Similarly with the Discount Tire order, they say theyre holding payment because theyre waiting on the retailer, but its been well beyond the amount of time their offer said I should receive the Cash Back in. I have no control over what Discount Tire or any retailer does with BeFrugal, but BeFrugal markets that using their service according to their terms and rules will result in Cash Back payments. They're responsible for holding up their end of the relationship to me, their customer. I have no idea whether what theyre saying the retailers are doing is true or whether its a scam. But either way theyre neglecting to honor the terms of the offer they explicitly made to me.

    Not sure what else there is to say. They obviously are saying that their policy is that it doesnt matter if you follow their guidelines and do what they tell you will qualify you for cash back. If they are told by the merchant that they cant find the order, BeFrugals policy is apparently that they will accept the merchants word regardless of any evidence to the contrary. I think thats wrong and BeFrugal should be responsible to honor their arrangement with their customers and work with them to show the merchant that the merchant is in error, or work with the customer to determine why the merchant isnt seeing the order even though the customer clearly provided evidence of it. Which seems likely at this point to be related to a software problem in BeFrugals product. But theyre being clear that they dont care about those things and simply repeating the same information, so Im not sure what else there is to say.

    So back on Feb 18th, 2023, I used Befrugal's rewards site to click on a link to go directly to HomeDepot.com's website. Through that direct link FROM BEFURGAL, I made a purchase with ********** assuming that I would receive credit through BeFrugal for that purchase. Even though Befrugal received credit for that purchase through **********, they refuse to credit my account for my rewards. I emailed the receipt for proof of purchase but **** says, no, ********** doesn't acknowledge the purchase. If they didn't acknowledge the purchase, why did they send me my package that was purchased through BEFRUGAL's link!Maybe I would be better off with a class action suit instead, being that after researching Befrugal, a lot of consumers report the same thing.

I contacted ********** customer service 800# and they stated upon research that a purchase was made with my credentials via a befrugal.com link on date in question so this just proves BeFrugal gets their money from the business but refuses to pay their customers.

    On 11/22/2022 we placed an order with one of befrugal's partners, momcozy.com. We placed ORDER #JJ171307 based on befrugal highlighting a cashback offer for momcozy.com and a welcome bonus of $10 for using befrugal. After placing the order, the cashback transaction wasn't added to our befrugal account within the indicated timeframe, so I emailed customer service (ref#**********. Befrgual customer service promptly added the $18 in pending cashback to our account. Over the course of several months, I've inquired about the status. **************** has only indicated that the investigation is still pending and there's no timelimit for momcozy to reply. Befrgual continues to highlight momcozy as a partner Because the customer service case has been pending more than 90 days, I ask that befrugal release the pending $18 cahback from the transaction and the $10 welcome bonus as indicated before we placed the order.

    I've reviewed the company's reply. I understand the process can take some time and have allowed about 3 1/2 months. If there's a resolution within a reasonable time, I'd accept their response. I'd also like to know if they've reached out to their partner to inquire about the delay. 

    Is it possible to ask befrugal to follow up with their partner to try to expedite the process?  Also could we put this on hold, perhaps for a couple of weeks to allow them additional time for resolution?

    Befrugal app. It says I have a little over ***** on it that is verified but not payable...it hasn't added any cash back from the chewy orders for Feb. at all. I just want my cash back money, but there is no way on the app to contact them about this..my belief is they are keeping people's cash back money.

    I had an account at befrugal.com for rebate on online shopping. There is about ~$100 rebate in balance. When I tried to login, I was told that my account was deactivated. There was never a warning to me. Other than "your account ***************** has been deactivated due to violations of BeFrugal's terms and conditions", they refused to offer any explanation.

    I checked with my wife and she didn't use my paypal account with her befrugal account. As far as I am aware, I have only one befrugal account and only one paypal account associated with it. I don't know how befrugal deals with identity theft? It seems to me it is so easy for people to use other's paypal, which is just an email address.

    I have made several purchases through Befrugal.com, including one with ************* in the account of $366.51. However, that transaction is pending verification for more than one year I followed all the steps required to ensure my purchase was tracked and eligible for cashback. However, I have not received any confirmation that my purchase has been verified or that I will be receiving the cashback.I have reached out to the customer service team on multiple occasions, but have not received a satisfactory response. I have provided all the necessary information, including my order details, but have not received any updates on the status of my cashback.I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from BeFrugal. As a loyal customer, I expected better from your company, and I feel let down by the lack of support and communication.I would like to request that you look into this matter as soon as possible and credit my account with the cashback owed to me. I hope that you can resolve this issue promptly.

    BeFrugal submitted an inquiry with the retailer on 12/20/21 in regards to the chewy sale mentioned.

    In general, we advise that inquiries can take around ***** days to resolve. This is just a guideline, however. Some stores may respond quicker while others may take additional time.
    Once we receive further information, we will notify the customer and update their ********************** account accordingly.

    We have also posted the $21.99 to the users BeFrugal account as pending until the retailer confirms the sale.

    I reject this response as this didn't solve the problem at all. As a cashback website, it needs to be held accountable for tracking cashback and for merchant to confirm these. This has been pending for more than one year - far beyond the 90-day time frame. I request an escalation and have someone to follow up with merchant and credit this to me as soon as possible.

    i think Befrugal should hold itself and the merchant accountable for getting this cashback. It doesn't make sense for a verified purchase never credit cashback after 1.5 years.

     

    Could you either add me to your communication with ************ so i have visibility into that? Or give me an ETA when this will be added. This is a verified purchase from Befrugal.
