    According to Mobiloan's website, this is the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana's first Online Lending Venture. They have stated that they are managed by the Economic Development Council.

    The Tunica-Biloxi Indian Tribe, formerly known as the Tunica-Biloxi Indian Tribe of Louisiana, is a federally recognized tribe of Tunica and Biloxi people, located in east central Louisiana.

    Regarding the legality The Consumer's Account Agreement indicates that their accounts are governed by the laws of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, (the "Tribe") a sovereign nation recognized by the United States of America. As such, the laws of the Tribe permit MobiLoans, LLC to offer the account in accordance with Tribal Law.

    In addition, MobiLoans, LLC is organized under the laws of the Tribe, is owned and operated by the Tribe, and operates exclusively on land owned by the Tribe. As such, MobiLoans, LLC is an "arm of the Tribe", and entitled to sovereign immunity and therefore not subject to any state laws.
