  I booked. 3 day turkey hunt for Kentucky. When I arrived I was told I would be in the basement with 5 other grown men in bunk beds with 1 bathroom. With that said I decided to stay at my house roughly an hour away and commute back and forth. I met my guide the first morning who was from Florida and had no clue about any of the properties we were hunting. He had literally never seen any of them. We drove about and hour and spent the day using OnX trying to find property lines and what not. The owners son was guiding another client that road with us but he had to go to baseball practice so that left my guide having to take the other client out and me hunting alone. The next morning I met my guide offsite and went to get another property he had never seen. After a day of nothing I did feel slightly better about day 3 since we had scouted all of day 2. Come day 3 my guide never showed up, when I called he mentioned he overslept but would be there in a few hours. We had already missed daylight so no point in hunting now. I called management and was given to Joe Sr. Who seemed like he understood and would help resolve to at least give me 1 more day of hunting. He became unresponsive so I contacted James who would never actually speak to me but randomly text back about what my problem was. He is now also unresponsive, I have asked for Tevis again with no callback. I spent $2,000 for 1 and a half days hunting and didn’t even eat or stay at the lodge. I should have read these reviews beforehand.

  I entered to win one of their contest on their facebook page. I ended up winning a $2000 gift card to anything in the store. After over a year of talking to different employees and trying to get resolved, I was once again blown off and not contacted. I have tried and tried but this company is dishonest and untrustworthy

  Booked a hunt with 6 hunters....told us we would have a blind to ourselves. Over booked camp so day 2 and 3 we have 2 extra guys with us. One never hunter ducks before so we felt very uncomfortable hunting our dog with them.
  Arrival day....guides sitting around drinking Fireball bragging about how drunk they were the night before. Told us "we leave at 5:30, if you are late we leave without you. Hunt day one....no breakfast (all meals included...no breakfast any day other than microwave Jimmy Dean sausage sliders), first guide arrives at 5:45...our guide 6:20. Guess rules only apply to those who pay. No scouting in afternoons by guides....too busy drinking and acting like a frat house.
  Overbooked so bad they didnt have enough blinds. One group had zero and thats after they took one of our blinds. Complaints of guide Blake not having a goose call and not knowing how to blow a duck call. They rotated the groups on the same 4 potholes rather than finding new water to hunt.
  Took us on an afternoon hunt for geese on a field one guide said 100 geese using or up to 3000 geese if you listened to the camp manager. Got set up and took a walk around the field and not one feather or other sign of waterfowl....yep another lie to your clients....back at camp....other guides drinking like college students rather than scouting.
  Every day more clients....no gear....no birds....many lies.

  Best outfitter out there. I hunted with Whitetail Heaven in Kentucky, Kansas, and Ohio this year and had a blast. Great food, Best guides, lodges are amazing! Will be going back for years to come

  Group of us from South Carolina went to Whitetail Heaven Outfitters in Sharon, Kansas last week. Nothing about this trip was fun. We called JC and Carlton and they keep telling us we got plenty ducks here, good conditions and we can goose hunt in the afternoon. So we make the 17 hour drive out there thinking this is going to be a good time hunting. When we show up to the lodge, we find out we’re staying in an AirBnb 20 minutes away from the lodge. Come to find out 5 others are joining us in the AirBnB which only has one bathroom. The first day hunting we end up hunting with 3 other guys in the same blind which was not communicated at all. When we booked this trip, we were told we would have our own place to stay and would be hunting by ourselves. Both of those did not happen. JC canceled the duck hunters trip last week since it was too cold for them and the weather wasn’t good. He didn’t even bother called us and asked us that question when the ponds have been frozen for 10 days straight and the only thing they hunt out of are the small cattle ponds. Instead we have to watch our guide spend an hour cutting 6inch thick of ice with a chainsaw so the ducks could have a landing spot. At this point we knew how this was going to play out. We only shot 7 birds on 3 hunts and another group didn’t even kill a bird on 4 hunts. Carlton was an amazing guide and tried to do everything he could for us. I wouldn’t recommend coming out here for duck hunting since it seemed like they mostly care about deer hunting. We just wish the communication was better since we drove cross country for nothing. Also don’t tell your customers you get to hunt by yourself, and also get a place to stay by yourself and then put them with other people.

  Man I just wanted say a huge thank you to everyone at Whitetail Heaven Outfitters! What a great time/experience it was this year for me, my wife, and the Kratzer family staying at WHO, not once but twice in one year! The shed hunt in the spring was great and this years KY rifle season hunt was a different level. I saw the biggest buck of my life but he didn’t give me a shot! I saw 50 plus deer in 4 days, some of the group saw over 100 deer in four days. I had the coolest guides with Micah and Westin! Made memories for life. To experience the WHO culture was unlike any other hunting trip, the values, the food, the stories, the most gorgeous lodges I ever stayed in, a true hunt for huge bucks that really gets the adrenaline pumping, but ultimately the WHO family, especially Tevis and Hannah made all of us feel like family, home away from home. We will definitely be back!

  I enjoyed every minute of my experience in Sharon, Kansas. I was there in early November, bow hunting. I didn’t actually kill a deer but it wasn’t bc I didn’t see deer. I can not express just how “at home” and “welcomed” the crew makes you feel there. JC Hall and Carlton Jones, along with the ladies doing the cooking are top notch. JC Hall will lose sleep trying to plan out everyone’s hunts so that you have the best opportunity to see/kill bucks. If JC tells you that you need to be in the stand 2 hours early with a chicken mask on, by God you best be finding you a chicken mask bc he knows what he’s talking about. Lol
  I see people talking about being crowded and I can’t speak for anywhere but Sharon, KS. There was 8 or 9 of us in the one house. It was a 2 bedroom with a loft and 1.5 bath. That being said, I never felt crowded not once on the whole trip.
  So I’m sure you can tell by now, I highly recommend Whitetail Heaven (Sharon, KS) and I can’t speak highly enough for the head guy out there, JC Hall. If you want to feel welcomed and at home, check these guys out.

  Just returned from my first hunt at Whitetail Heaven Outfitters and all I can say is WOW!!! I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a 100% fair chase hunting experience with accommodations second to none. Now I’m not saying this just because I killed the biggest buck of my life but because Tevis Mccauley runs an amazing operation from the management of properties, Hannah’s amazing cooking, and all the other great people helping make my hunt amazing. Blake, Gordy, Justin and Bowe you guys are the real deal and it was a pleasure working with you guys to help me put down a monster. I definitely look forward to next year hunting with Whitetail Heaven Outfitters.

  Biggest scam ever beware if going to hunt here especially first timers like myself paid 3k to hunt where I come to find out I was gone be staying in a horse stable I had to drive over an hour to go hunt which wasn’t explained before I arrived as well as the outrageous fees and to top off the experience I was placed in a field where the guide admitted that there wasn’t a lot of deer there and also had a combine come in and start harvesting the crop mid hunt they couldn’t provide me with trail cam pictures of the property I was hunting when they claimed there was big deer there and the owner Tevis M******** said there’s giants on that farm…. Yea right this was the biggest rip off ever do your reasearch check the better business bureau reviews and the rating you’ll find out what you need to know

  I've hunted with WHO on several occasions in 3 different states. I've been successful each time. They run a very good operation and go to great efforts to make your hunt the best it can be. Special consideration to JC Hall who runs the Kansas operation, he makes camp a fun place to be and puts you on the game you are hunting. Looking forward to going back again.
