      This company was recommended by other athletic trainers as a source for quality yet affordable sunglasses. I loved the variety of styles and they have lots of sales throughout the year. I ordered multiple sunglasses and was able to return the ones I didn't want to keep without any issues whatsoever. In particular I loved the Terrain (Black Glacier) sunglasses and the Navigator (Navy Silver) frames/lenses. Absolutely recommend.

      So much for your lifetime warranty. Because I did business with you before your policy change now I can't get the lifetime warranty you sold me. What a joke of a company.

      The replacement policy is a joke. They talk about how easy it is but talk is cheap. They keep asking to fill out forms and they will look into it. I have already
      filled it out twice. They are big fat liars! BUYER BEWARE!

      Placed an order for a pair of sunglasses and added a mystery pair for $22. Canceled the mystery pair after reading reviews on the sunglasses they send for the mystery pair are pretty cheap looking and not even worth $22. They only refunded me $11 and then took off the discount code I used at checkout for 20% off. So I ended up paying more for the original pair I ordered than they cost. Feel as if I was cheated out of $ and received only 1 pair of sunglasses that I ended up paying more than the advertised price.

      I purchased 6 pairs of sunglasses over a year and a half about 3-4 years ago. They offer a lifetime replacement warranty of 2 replacements if they're lost, stolen, damaged, etc. until they didn't.
      I had been saving requesting replacements for when I really needed them.
      On one of the pairs, and come to find out on multiple after the fact, the plastic coating was getting sticky as maybe it was disintegrating. And another pair the left arm broke off from have them on when I leaned back against the headrest in my car.
      I contacted Shady Rays about this and discoverd they quietly, never notifying their previous customers, changed their policy. I contacted them about my displeasure with this secretive policy change. They told me they would exchange whatever ones I had issues as a one time courtesy. They requested photos, which I sent in email to which I received a canned, automated response.
      Do yourself a favor and avoid this company like the plague. They built a large brand off of empty promises they apparently couldn't sustain and then when they figured this out, they secretly changed their policy and screwed over their previous customers in the process.

      I bought sunglasses when there was a lifetime replacement warranty. They changed the policy so it applies to sunglasses purchased before the policy change? Seems pretty dishonest to me! Be prepared to have your warranty changed after you buy! Messed up to treat the customers that helped grow company like that!

      My glasses broke and was having a issue getting a replacement pair. I messaged them on messenger and received a prompt response from Kristen, she sent me a new pair without any undue stress. Thank You Shady Rays for living up to your warrantee, over all a great experience.

      I purchased multiple pairs of Shady Rays sunglasses due to the low price and lifetime lost/damaged replacement guarantee. I lost a pair and attempted to order a replacement, only to find that they changed their terms to a 2 year replacement period after my purchase and refused to replace my glasses. They have also doubled their prices for a new pair of glasses, and they are hiding all reviews under 4 stars on their website. I will not ever be purchasing a pair of glasses from you again. In fact, I sense a false advertising lawsuit in your near future.

      These sunglasses are trash, they’ve just done a great job at marketing them. I recently bought two pair from the Classic Family, they broke in the same spot over the right eye closest to the nose where the thinnest of the frame is located I did a warranty claim no questions or problems so within a few months, the warranty Repair cracked in almost identical spot, but they claim it’s not a workmanship issue, so therefore you cannot get any more glasses. Steer clear as there cost keep going up and up. I could go on and on but I’m done with this company and there cheap made glasses

      I purchased 4 pairs of Shady Rays in 2020. I am not too hard on my glasses and only planned to request replacements when they are all broken. At the time of my purchase, all pairs were eligible for 2 replacements with no time limitation. Today, I reached out to request replacements for the second time ever. I was told the replacement window was now limited to 2 years. If there had been some prior notice, such as an email, that the policy was changing, I would have understood. The change to limit the replacement window without notification is deceptive and unfair.
