I have been trying to pay my bill for over a year now. I randomly get invoices in the mail for different amounts. I have tried to pay online, it doesn’t recognize my account number. I have tried to pay over phone, the call disconnects before I’m able to pay. I have even mailed a letter to contact me regarding my bill because I’m starting to think this is a scam but I also don’t want this to be turned over for collections. I have tried numerous times to pay.Business Response

Hello,
I am with the former billing company for Diagnostic Imaging Alliance of Louisville. At this time we are unable to take payments on existing open accounts. Please advise the patient to disregard their most recent statement at this time. The account are in hold status and will not be cycling to a collection agency.
Thank you

I have received three bills from the Diagnostic Imaginge Alliance of Louisville over the last 3 months with a phone number of ************ and a website to go to *****************. I have tried both options to pay my bill. If you call the phone number and enter your account number as asked the line goes dead after inputting it (I tried it now twice.) When you go to *****************, and put the account number, it says it's invalid. I finally got through to an agent for the first time when I got the first bill, and they said the website is not working and to call later. After getting the second bill, I called and told the agent my account number, and they said "They are no longer the billing provider and to ignore the bill!"
Why am I dealing w/ the burden of a business that can't get their act together? I want to pay the bill, yet I can't and keep getting bills in the mail. My concern is this will go to a credit agency for not paying my bill when I actually am trying to. If you look on their google listings account- you can see that others are facing the same issue. I have no choice but to report them to BBB.Business Response

Attempting to pay a bill for my husband’s radiology results and unable to using multiple options provided. When trying to enter account info online, it says it’s incorrect. Tried multiple times, it’s not incorrect. Tried to pay online and entered correct account info, it disconnects the call every single time. Tried to pay through customer service by finally getting someone on the phone and they told me they have a system error and were unable to process the card and that I should send a check. Paying with an HSA account, check is not an option. Service date is 2/9/24. Husband’s name is ******* ******. Bill amount is $97.56 I tried finding a number to contact the office directly, and the one online is disconnected and no longer accurate. GET A NEW BILLING COMPANY. RIDICULOUS. Please contact me so I can pay the bill.Business Response

I was hospitalized in late March and early April of this year. I received MRIs on separate occasions and was billed through ****** *********** I randomly received a text from this organization for $100+ balance. I made several payments, eventually paying it off completely in August of 2024. The company continued to contact me that I had and $86 balance remaining. I eventually got someone on the phone who told me the last charge they had for me was in July of 2024 - which was incorrect. I was told to send an email with the receipts to [email protected] (which I did, four times) and followed up each time I continued to receive follow up texts from them - to no response. This money has been taken from my account and balance paid in full. Looking at google reviews, it sounds like people are often sent to collections through this company. No one will acknowledge the payments made or the balance paid in full at this company. It feels like a scam.Business Response

The attached receipts show payments made to ********** **** *********** That is a different provider. They are another radiology group that reads imaging at ****** ********** I show we (********** ******* ******** ** **********) received payments from the patient on 5/16/24 & 7/9/24. If there were payments made to ********** ******* ******** ** ********** on other dates, they can be sent directly to me for review. I can be reached directly via email *******************. We still have an outstanding balance of $86.35, that is why we were still reaching out to the patient.Customer Answer

In February 2024, I received two billing statements from Diagnostic Imaging Alliance of Louisville for services rendered by *** ***** and *** ***** *n January 2024 at ****** ******** Brownsboro. The bills are in the amounts of $117.46 and $106.35. I attempted to pay the bills via the number provided on the statements - (**** ********. I called this line on 2/22/24, 2/23/24, 2/29/24, 3/1/24, 3/19/24, 3/26/24. The line has been out of service. Further, the billing website listed on the statement is not functional (******************************* I contacted ****** ******** to inquire about other methods of contacting the provider. They had two phone numbers ************* *** ************* that are also out of service. There is no way of paying the outstanding medical bills and I fear the business will send the bills to collection. This fear seems justified based on other reviews and complaints listed on BBB website.Business Response

Hello ******
We received the attached notice indicating that a compliant was recently closed and is now impacting the practices BBB rating. I am with the provider group’s billing entity and we would like the opportunity to address this matter, as this is the first I am hearing that there was an open complaint. I believe this complaint stems from a patient inquiry and I would guess that the patient has been unable to contact us regarding her account. As you may know my organization Change **************** ******* **** ** ****** ****** ***** experienced a cyber attach back in late February, this has resulted in our billing services to be down for a number of weeks. Unfortunately, our services have not been restored yet as we are working with security firms and the FBI to resolve these matters. When are systems are accessible again, I would be happy to reach out to this patient to address their concerns and answer any questions. However I do not have the patients information or the original complaint for additional clarity. Are you able to re-open/remove this inquiry from the providers BBB file and allow me to formally resolve the matter directly?
Thank you.

I was involved in a car accident on 9/10/2023. I was seen in at ****** ********** ******** in the ER following the accident. On 3/4/2024 I got a call from a debt collector saying that I owed a balance to Diagnostic Imaging Alliance of Louisville from my accident. I did not receive scans elsewhere. My bill had been paid for the hospital trip. I have not gotten a bill from DIAL. After reading reviews it seems this is a standard practice from this place and that they are double dipping with insurance and trying to get more money from patients. This is not ok. When trying to call and speak with a representative for the company, the phone lines are disconnected.Initial Complaint

Active cancer patient receiving treatment with ****** ****** ****** (***).
Diagnostic Imaging Alliance of Louisville apparently is contracted to read images of *** patients.
I received a collections call from ********** regarding "my account" from DIA. I did not engage with them.
I called the DIA billing number on an old statement ************ and spoke with ******
Carla said I had a balance of $25.80 for a date of service of 3/23/22. I was able to locate that bill. Since I knew I've had multiple images taken over the duration of my treatment, I asked if there were any other bills outstanding and she found one for $24.61 with a date of service of 3/8/22.
I asked how I could get a copy of the bill so I could review it and pay it and she informed that I could pay the bill, THEN I could get a copy of a zero dollar statement or she'd send me to collections.
She refused to get a supervisor on the line after I requested to speak with one.
I was told I could log onto their website @ *************.com and review my account. I have no legal obligation to create an account so I can go GET the bill they want paid.
She disconnected the call without closing out the call.
